One of the best pottery instructors on KZfaq. I own one of your mugs that shape ! I’m an American so I have to fill it twice in the morning but I can live with that 😁

Time for me to make a twisted cut-off wire. Canadians love coffee too. My tankards are my best sellers. Thank you Simon. Peter from Saskatoon

I love how you explain as you go. Your pottery is always besutiful. When I go to the studio, I love it when we play music for the whole studio to listen to. We are all different ages and we all enjoy it. It makes it festive. From Utah.

When in America, do as American’s do - go to Costco and buy a reservoir of coffee Simon!

Dealing with the new video trends sure is complicated 😅 I like the shorts/portrait videos too but it's harder to watch on a big screen. love your work, greetings from Italy!

Yes clips are easier in a way to make using my iPad as the uploading process is simplified. I could I suppose flip iPad on its side, I may try that, and get a landscape angle.

Experience and eyeballing it. You get to know. As a beginner get the base approx same size as how you want the finished size to be when you break in. As your skill increases it won’t be so critical as you can adjust as you go. Use a mirror as a throwing aid to assist you.

How do you ensure the base width of the pots are all the same please? I notice you don't measure the width of the centred clay.

I was guilty of saying I wanted a bigger tankard until I purchased your regular tankard and discovered it was the perfect size. So for that bombast I apologize. (Ultimately we bought several of your tankards. There hasn't been a meal since for which my wife hasn't used hers.)
