I'm an aging metalhead and I still love consuming new music but Sleep Token is the first band in a long time that I've made time to just sit down and experience their albums.

"I don't want to know if Vessel raps." Well you called it without meaning to lmao. This album is phenomenal. Definitely my AOTY for me at this moment.

People complaining about his rapping not being on par with "professional" rappers, I mean, that's the whole point, he's not a rapper, he's doing what fits the song and it works. This track is insanely good

Sleep Token makes me feel things I don't want to feel. Things my even therapist can't dig out of me. They really are something special.

"You're gonna wanna mosh, you're gonna wanna cry, you're gonna wanna grind" That's the most accurate Sleep Token description ever.

There is a line half way through this track which goes "I could give you a blacklit paradise" Which made me bawl up after piecing together a few things. I think this is Vessels coming to grips and acceptance of his loss of his "Sleep" and all the emotions around it. The rest of the album mellowing out into self reflection and pleading with guilt.

This album might be the GOAT for me. Knowing Sleep Tokens songs are all growers, and the fact that these unreleased singles BLEW MY MIND on the first listen is actually insane. I don't know how much better they can get, but I find myself loving everything more and more as time goes on. As an album, it's an absolute masterpiece. We are very lucky to be alive in a time to witness this sort of thing.

Agreed. I could say that about 3-4 songs off this album. Part of me wishes no singles had been released and I went in fresh for every song. One of the best albums I have ever listened to of any genre.

Really nice commentary at the end... there is no objective standard for what a "masterpiece" actually is... 100% agree, this song is a masterpiece. Even the entire album, even with certain things I don't like about it, is a masterpiece. Maybe slightly flawed in some ways, and people will like and dislike various things about it which will change from person to person, but it is undoubtedly true, authentic, genuine art, and the whole thing is a freaking masterpiece and I hope it gets massive attention and goes down as one of the greatest albums of our time.

One of those rare gems where the album tracks almost outshine the singles... I really think there is some symbolism scattered throughout. Euclid ends on the same piano riff as "The night does not belong to God", whilst Vessel also sings "The night belongs to you", this would flow straight into Sundowning back to back. Could this album be a different spectrum or prequal into Sundowning- maybe he's finally reached God in Eden? Sleep Token are so mysterious, cryptic... I am blown away by this album. Wow.

Sleep Token has to be one if not Top 3 of my favorite bands of the year! What makes them stand out from the rest is their experimentation and how successful they are at it. Vessel and the band mixing genres in complete harmony is something we just dont get often and when we do, its not always on point. This band DESERVES the praise they are getting not only as a band, but as ARTISTS!! The band is so dedicated to their craft that I have nothing but love and respect for them. Absolute TALENT!!!
