Vessel is a genius. If it hasn't been mentioned yet, he is the main songwriter and performer of all the instruments on all their current recorded music, except for the drums which are performed by II. III and IV are live touring members but have now joined fulltime. This band is Vessel's baby. II's drumming elevates Vessel's songwriting to a whole new dimension- so playful but also so deadly controlled and tight. Thier music is a beautiful metaphorical display of processing grief, obsessions, love and attatchment. The 3 LPs will consume you. No bad songs. Only a lot of passion.

The other covers and another Sleep Token original, called Shelter, are all from a live piano acoustic set known as From The Room Below and found on the Deluxe version of the album Sundowning. I love watching you both digest the music. Belle is having full synethesia over there. It’s a delight to watch and I’m totally jealous that you guys get to go to rituals this year. Jericho is known as the oldest city still standing on Earth. Dating back to 9,600 BCE the walls have been standing nearly 11,000 years! Walls are a theme that Vessel will keep revisiting as we move forward with the discography. This is also the first reference to vorarephelia, or the sexual desire to consume someone. Let’s just hope it’s a metaphorical thing, lol. But whatever sweet nothings Sleep is feeding Vessel IT IS WORKING. Sleep is like a little gnat that just won’t go away. “Tread, ancient water salt like I. Sink, down like precious stones.” Sleep tells him this with a subtle nod to what she is going to put him through. These two lines illustrate the entire story of the first two albums. “Become as a God like I am. And gracefully sink to your demise.” Vessel could give zero shits about what Sleep is telling him right now. Our boy is love drunk and can only exist for the nights that Sleep graces him again. “Until I wake I dine on old encounters.” His sleep is so infested with the things he has done. Eden, Sleep, all his trigger points torture him until he wakes and he just wants to go back to Sleep’s realm. “Fold, secrets in the sweat like I. Swallow, years beneath this bed.” She is telling him she is lying to him. She has been doing it for a long time and she plans to keep on keeping on. Keeping him in the dark as she feeds on him when she isn’t there. As we exit the EP’s we have our cast of characters and we have a Vessel primed for giving Sleep everything he is. Love the channel guys! Keep it up! Worship.

I love that you both seem to grasp how beautiful and amazing this song is. The floating, fluttering, dancing, vocal, melodies at the end just make me see how beautiful their music can be juxtaposed with how dark and heavy it can be at the same time.

ST tried so hard to make sure tix only got into the hands of fans. Of course the scalpers don't care that the tickets they are reselling must be redeemed with the original purchaser's id. I keep hoping they'll end up with some coming forward and getting their purchases refunded, but i am not holding my breath for it, either.😢 Love and light!
