She’s the only thing he can’t control and she weakens him no matter his personal strength. She fits him perfectly. Is that beautiful or disastrous? It’s neither and it’s both at the same time. I fucking love these guys. His words are so drowned in his vocals. Music that makes you feel something again not just bang your head and brutal. It’s sorrow at its most beautiful place.

Recently discovered Sleep Token. I might say that it’s reignited my emotions, I was struggling with depression and emotional exhaustion for last couple of years, nothing seems to hit me. And now I’m feeling again, all there albums are such a treasure with nearly weeping at the end of a Euclid and Bring me back to Eden. Just saw this band open for In This Moment, fucking blown away, went straight to their merch table after they got done playing and added all their music to my playlist after the show. Listening to this online for the first time you'd probably think that his voice is like super doctored in the studio to sound this good, but he sounds just like this live and when the CHUG hits it rattles your fuckin ribcage. Phenomenal experience, I'm so glad my first experience with this band was live. Also, their bassist is fuckin crazy. Dude was doing karate kicks and playing behind his head and shit the entire time

Ok, I'm sold on Sleep Token. Have had their latest releases on repeat but checked out their past work and WOW. How I've gone this long without having heard of them before is insane.

This band is just next level, as someone fresh on finding them this is the four song I just can't anymore. The drummer is just on point and is right up there with my style. Vocals and lyrics next level, and the bass and guitar are like the glue holding it all together. I don't know where this band came from but I hope the literally don't stop whatever it is their doing cause it's what we need in music right now.

My interpretation: The object of desire in this song is being described as being composed of neither elements (acid or alkaline), but something in between perhaps. She's mysterious, otherworldly & he can't define her but he'll accept her fully either way as she has fully encompassed him & he is completely taken over by her, imprisoned in a way but willfully so, as he couldn't be happier to be in her chains.

This is weird but I find it hard to express how happy/relieved I am that this track is so good.
