i absolutely love that youtube directed me to this video! I love nils and all of his projects! we incidentally share the same birthday and I discovered this at a show of thiers in san fransisco on our mutual birthday when he announced it to the crowd. quite a surprise to say the least! free salamander exhibit played in arcata a few years back and put on a great show. they needed a place to stay that night and I gladly offered up my house to the band. faun fables played a few weeks back in eureka, and it had been a long time since I had seen them, and the show was absolutely wonderful. their daughters are insanely talented and seem well accustomed to a life on stage and the road. they were unabashed and really brought life to the performance. great set! anyways, I don't usually post comments, but I'm happy to have seen the interview and to have had an update on whats new with the sleepytime gorilla museum. i really hope that when they go on tour next, they think of us redwood hobbits and stop by and say hello in musical form. cheers!

we love a mention of one of the greatest albums of all time: Robert Fripp's Exposure, THE ORIGINAL RELEASE NOT THE REMASTER/REMIX!!!

Definitely the original. That record was also my first exposure to Peter Hamill...

@@tbvanwagner I have very strong opinions about this (obviously)! Hammill’s vocals are so strong on the original release, and the takes on the remaster/remix are a super big letdown in comparison.

Do they worship SATAN? Hymn to the morning star is the scariest piece of music I’ve ever heard…

Nils has sometimes pretended to, but I don't think he ever really did. He does seem to be a type of neo-pagan, but I'm not sure what kind, and never asked him about it. He did tell me that "Hymn to the morning star" was meant semi-ironically, that it was about "pagans and Satanists who are as dogmatic as Fundamentalist Christians, but aren't aware of it".
