I went to high school with Nardo aka Slick Pulla. This was when kids on Boulevard was getting money like Harlem in 88! LOL The era when it wasn't uncommon to see a kid like 16 pushing a 95 Lexus coupe down Ralph McGill without a license! LOL Nardo like most of us in the city, was a real big hip-hop head, we weren't on that booty shake music in the 4th Ward /Zone 5 area like other spots in ATL. I left the city in like 02' and came back in 05' and everybody was telling me he was rapping with Jeezy. Dude was super nice with the punchlines which besides TI no other rapper in ATL was doing but not on his level. Unfortunately, he couldn't leave the streets behind because anybody that knows him knows he wasn't a regular trapper, dude is REALLY smart, like he could've gotten his MBA and went on to Silicon Valley smart. You can hear it in the video! But he definitely put the 4 on his back with that Gangsta Grillz classic 4th Ward Day and I'm glad he's in tuned with the Infinite Most High cus' brothers & sisters are def fighting for our spirits and minds!
