Burkina Faso is one of the poorest countries in the world nonetheless, it is also one of the most welcoming.
On this new trip, we take you to Gaoua in the southwest of the country, near the border with Côte d'Ivoire. Gaoua is a village whose inhabitants live far from the capital, Ouagadougou. The activity is partly ensured by small farmers who come to sell on the market products of their land. Very few tourists come to Gaoua and even fewer to the market.
A unique opportunity to discover what a local market in Burkina Faso looks like and what kind of wonderful delicacies one can cook with the local products!

I saw sunflower oil. I would instead use shea butter.

Those Chicken are Natural and small, but for sure there is no Monsanto, du pont, gemtech, biotech and all kinds of Chemicals or hormones that make them Chicken Giant. In South East ASIA there are Chicken 🍗🐔 still being raised in the wide field and are free range. Thats why they are small, but nutty taste when cooked. They are very tasety.
