Cette année, on peut être TRES fier d'avoir pour représentant un artiste aussi talentueux que Slimane, nous avons enfin toutes les chances de remporter le concours, la chanson est superbe de base et cette version est ultra entêtante tout comme le clip est diaboliquement beau. I don't know if he's bringing some of this eclectic idea to the stage but this is the song I've seen so far more exploted, he's got an amazing live with his powerful and emotional voice and the song js just incredible. I think anything they do will blow our minds.

This is what Portugal and Serbia should have done. Instead of an acoustic version of their entries, it would have been interesting to hear a remix or an uptempo version of their songs.

But Portuguese culture isn't like that, besides, Portugal's song is about depression, anxiety and a possible evolution into a better person. It's not supposed to be a message to people to dance to, but rather to reflect on.

@@bloubear2557 I'm not forcing anything on anyone lol. It's just my opinion. I think that Portugal has enough creativity to go a little further. You can perfectly talk about sad or personal things with different musical genres. It doesn't always have to be a depressing ballad. France for example decided to try something different with its entry and it has merit in that. Portugal maintained the same record and fell a little short. And this is reflected in the odds... Portugal continues to fall...
