I think it's great what you guys are doing for the sport. I'm a huge fan of slingin it! I'm from Wisconsin U.S.A. so the accents are a little hard to pick up on at times but I understand 99%. You actually back up what you are saying as true by giving life experiences and logical wisdom. Focusing on quality vs quantity is important, just like in martial arts. Taking frequent breaks is important. Never in a natural environment are you physically required to do countless repetitions of the exact same movement and their for should be avoided. That's one way of looking at it. One day on a camping trip, i was shooting at a half burried can from 30ft away, using clay shot. I was hitting it good at first, then missed like 20 times in a row. I finally hit it and it bounced a couple feet back. I just keept shooting at it as it layed and hit it like 3 times in a row even after it keeps moving farther away. I ended up shooting it until it landed approximately 60ft away. I was hitting far more frequently with the target moving spots. It just goes to show that everything in nature changes and we should allow ourselves to change and adapt by taking frequent breaks. We should always look to the workings of nature to better ourselves. I bought the orange companion from you awhile back and love it! Just ordered one of your new aluminum designs and really looking forward to shooting it. I'm kinda starting my own shooting community thanks to you guys. I am proud of you guys!

fork width... i think its as important as the release once you find your fork width you improve so much... i have also found that with steel a 90mm fork throws me high so for steel i now use a M95 n the S90 for lead.. n im still dead on... at 30 yd..

Great discussion. I switched to the snipersling .06 green from precise brand, it's a big difference, and the results are so much better. Thanks for sharing. 👍

happy new year guys !!!! thank you very much for your help , i will be more attentive about my fork hand stability , when i was shooting my compound bow i was conscious that this detail is crucial but with slingshot shooting it's so easy to forget it ...... thanks again !!!!

Good to see you back lads, happy new year !. Always look forward to your stuff. I've been shooting for three years now, retired now and shooting takes up virtually all my time, exclusively target so light bands - Precise .45 Gen 3 at 22x18 with 5.85 inches slack 30 inch draw for around 80% extension. Reckon I've got all technique down pat with good consistent accuracy at distances varying from 11, 13, 15 and occasionally 18 metres. Consistently hit 48mm disc (yesterday bottom of slim coke tin !) at first three distances. Good release is like other things, essential to accuracy. As an aid to shooting I have the 'five C's' which I concentrate on the way to, and during a shot - Clear head, Calmness , Confidence, Concentration and Consistency. Love it. Keep vids coming lads, all best. AL

This series is awesome, I learn *so* much from you guys chatting. Have you considered running a catapult training camp? Literally a camp....paid of course...we bring camp gear, you supply some permission land and we have a great time and learn lots. I'd be there in a flash....pretty sure there'd be more than enough demand. Plan something now for the summer...

I'd be interested to know if that 8" miss is always above the target because that shit happens to me sometimes & I'm putting it down to fatigue, it seems after about 80 shots with 9mm lead I wasn't holding the forks at 90° with the lower fork coming in towards my body at full draw which I reckon was sending it upwards. Taking a break is the best advice I've heard.

I keep coming across your videos and you have a lot of experience with slingshot darts my main question is can you do a video on how to tie the string that replaces the pouch to be able to shoot darts with band and tubes because honestly I can't remember the name of the knot to be able to search it up to rekindle my memory

you definitely had snipersling black from a way better batch.. I have been shooting the band set that you sent with my S90 n it's still going n I shoot it daily.. the stuff I have can n has broke in the band jig.. the .07 army green is definitely my favorite followed by .08 yellow.. good stuff as always.. my thing is letting shots fly before I get on the 🎯 properly for whatever reason lol

happy new year guys. sling'in it is my new favourite watch on KZfaq. on to barefoot shoes Chris as you mentioned vivo...check out wildling shoes. I've found these to be the closest to barefoot, more so then vivo. vivo however have the forest esc boot that I think is the best bushcraft/outdoor barefoot boot on the market.

Hey sorry to bother you greetings from across the plastic filled pond! When I see you use your spindle sander do you just have either an abrasive paper disk or regular sandpaper tied or rubber banded to the spindle? Please tell me briefly what that is it could save a ton of money!

seen an article on the news recently .looks like catapult hunting will soon be outlawed just as bow hunting was in the 60s what is needed from hunters is a strong ,loud unified voice and political representation .it will happen if we allow it to and dont become proactive .
