Well paced, well explained, well done! Thank you for clarifying as well as breaking down each element of the S2KP stitch. In particular, I appreciate the explanation of the passing of the 2 slipped stitches back over the 1 newly knitted stitch. It is immensely helpful to have a verbal explanation to clarify the visual demonstration!! 💜💜💜

Week 3 of the West MKAL, and I finally learn why my SSK2P looks so wonky. I’ve been slipping the 2 Stitches separately. Thanks! And no, I won’t be ripping back…the chevrons will just look a LOT better going forward…HA. 😅 Makes me want to knit now!

This looks much better than a sk2p! If I would want to slide a bead over the stitch, at what point it's best to do this?

Hello! If you want the bead to show up on the front of the s2kp, then I'd recommend putting the bead on before working the stitch at all. To do so, slip the first stitch to your right needle, then slide the bead over the second stitch. Next, slip the first stitch back to the left needle. Now, you can work the s2kp as written, and the bead will show up on front!

Hi Mary! This stitch is used as a central decrease, for when you need to decrease by 2 stitches in a symmetrical way.
