Solid performance by the Alfa, the Macan took double the throuttle input to achieve comparable results, meaning it will handle sensibly worse in offroad or in low traction conditions

Looks like the Stelvio handled slippage better, while also looking much better and costing $15K less. Congratulations Alfa Romeo!

The Alfa outperformed the Porsche but they both did very well.

Solid performance for both cars. I wonder what would have happened if you were able to turn the ESP off in the Alfa.

@@665Thunder Looking for which fuse to unplug is not an "easy way". :) That said, ESP should not have anything to interfere with these tests.

Very similar performance, although the driver in the macan is either too aggressive or the system allows more slippage. Great video :)

The Macan's traction/throttle management seems too aggressive IMO. BTW does it come with the rear PTV diff?

@@tyablo Compared to Alfa Romeo. What do you mean by saying a base Macan? They only have Macan and Cayenne as SUV vehicles.

I was in love with my Giulia and Alfa Romeo as a brand, however, I will never again buy/recommend another Alfa Romeo in my life. I had the brake by wire system fail on me and it caused me to crash and total the car. They sent someone from Bosch to diagnose the vehicle and in the charts it clearly showed that something malfunctioned (brakes were slammed 2 seconds before the impact at 40 MPH and it took more than 1.5 seconds for the speed to start going down.) Stellantis told me that they were not going to take responsibility for it and that I needed to have my insurance pay for the vehicle. Absolute garbage. I will never recommend this car brand to anyone again! Buy an AUDI, BMW or Mercedes instead. alfa vehicles are a death trap!!!
