Still wish Mick would go back to those dissonant-sounding, noise rock-type leads from their previous albums. I dunno how popular this opinion is, but I really feel like their most recent albums felt empty for lack of those. That, and the overly-clean production. If they won’t do it, then someone else should, because that sound is indeed what real brutality sounds like.

Can't imagine a world without Slipknot!

I'm guessing the legendary Bobby Tongs filmed the bulk of this. Man, what an extraordinary life that guy has had working with two of the biggest bands in the world, Slipknot and Pantera being the other. Not just working but being close friends with both as well. Super nice cat as well, gave me one of Dime's picks when I met him.

(1:48) it would be weird to think of Slipknot as just Corey,Mick,Jim,and joey.

It’s fully possible though. If you think about it Chris, Sid, Craig and Shawn are all percussionists and aren’t “needed” in terms of making aband work they just improve backing audio
