Awesome, I was browsing through your aquarium videos and was about to suggest the Father Fish video's for a natural method. I have done this myself and my aquarium is thriving with barely ever maintenance. I love the hobby much more this way!

heh, i see hydra. there's probably planaria in there too. and if you got some dragonfly larvae, boy oh boy. this will be a massacre. an aquarium just doesn't offer the amount of space needed to escape top tier predators like that, i think. but we will see. there'l be plenty of food , yes. But what you're forgetting is that the fish are also on the menu :D

The tentacle creature on the snail are actually lots of a type of worm called Chaetogaster limnaei limnaei, which lives on the snail, generally harmless and may help by eating parasites before they infect the snail. By coincidence, I was working on a video on them for my channel yesterday and found this video looking for something else! Lol

I've been watching videos about Ecosystems for 4 years and even I dont know what it was. My best guess is Mosquito Larvae, but as far as I know they don't behave in this way. Edit:It's a lake fly larva! Lake flies are pretty much non biting mosquitos.
