I remember this match. Venus could have won this match but self-destructed herself. Venus just blasted the ball with no margin and Sloane was absorbing her pace with smart games. The reason why Serena is so much more successful than Venus is because Serena always has a plan B, whereas Venus goes all guns blazing with no real direction. At the end, Venus self-defeated herself due to lack of clarity in her game plan.
