The fact that Serena still play like this at 40 is amazing. GOAT. 🐐 Although you can see clearly her movements wasn't as solid as in her prime (even before giving birth). Regardless I doubt we will see another player as dominant as Serena in the next 2 decades. ☹

Serena is playing to her strengths. She needs to continue to keep the rally’s short, pick her spots and stick to the corners. She hits the corners so well. As long as she has her strong serve available, she can still control the match and pace.

Serena is my sentimental favourite, but I'm a perennial Kontaveit fan. Love me some Annette! Annette has nothing to be ashamed of. She played some brilliant tennis. One thing I’ve noticed is that women tennis players generally turn pro earlier than men because they mature sooner like the Williams sisters did it turned pro at 14, wow, I was only 5’2” tall at 14 LOL. Does that seem to mean women do have it the advantage over the men as far as number of grands slams? Huh

I didn't watch the match but I feel bad for Kontaveit seeing this video unfortunately there's one in a thousand environment like that in female tennis so almost no woman can hold the pressure because isn't used to it I'm sure that was the biggest crowd Kontaveit saw in career at least as one of the players on court. She must be proud of herself few players reach what she did even not going through.

Serena and Venus at 17 handled greats like Steffi Graf and trust me Steffi Grafs fans were crazy, one stabbed Monica Seles! the crowds were against them and even hurled racist slurs, yet they handled the pressure.. It is funny how people forget the history of those two ladies and always want to support whiteness..smdh. Playing victims always...especially when a black person uncharacteristically is the more loved..She earned the love....overtime...never forget that!
