I was moreso talking about the comments in the presser by AS and IA, perhaps i am overthinking but when pushed on transfers hearing IA say LFC will look at opportunities in the transfer market stood out for me, nothing against the lad from Chelsea, perhaps we've learned that we have to gamble on younger talent with a higher potential ceiling rather than attempt to lure elite European talent since consistently getting rejected by RM targets isn't a hood look.

Good to see us attracting highly regarded talented footballer from Chelsea academy. We offer a proven pathway into the 1st team which must have been a big persuader for him. Also huge credit must go to Alex Inglethorpe and his team for creating one of the best academies in Europe.

With the Euros and other international football on it’s no surprise there is nothing to report on first team transfers. We also have the Olympics starting in a few weeks too. Signings will be late in the window this year which isn’t our usual way but it’s what everyone will be doing. The moaners will just have to deal with it.

Not confirmed yet, but it should be imminent with pre-season already under way. Think it’s important Liverpool get the full team together as soon as possible because they’re not operating at full strength at the moment. Hopefully everyone is in and started for the tour.

Good pedigree and hopefully a good fit for the club. Young with a desire to succeed which seems to be a theme.

Excited to see change that Slot and his staff brings to our squad. That first and 2nd day trainings very interesting. I like the idea they train like boxers the other day, and our youngsters seem enjoy it too. Any news about Sep Van Den Berg transfer yet? Is the conversation with Mainz still continue? I don't mind he stay and fill our need for cb tho

Diaz is 26-7 and only on 55 bags yet this young boy is close to getting a 40 bag contract for doing nothing. And some fikkle fans wont to moan at diaz and his output. Maybe pay him what hes worth and youd get better numbers from him

Mate, £40k a year, not a week! That’s the limit they put in place for first-year professionals. I think it may have been upped to £50k now.

@@dazhutchy823 i get your point but the presser didn't fill me confidence or hope, not any talk of specific areas to strengthen, and looking for opportunities should they arise later in the transfer market smells of a manager brought in to work with what he has at his disposal already.

My hype for nx season has all gone after watching this video.. cant even see a top 4 finish. Which means will be less attractive to a proper manager
