Today I am demonstrating our Slow Cooker Rice Pudding recipe.

Ingredients:
150 grams (3/4 Cup) Medium Grain White Rice
100 grams (1/2 Cup) White Sugar
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
750 ml (3 Cups) 3.25% or 2% Milk
40 grams (1/4 Cup) Raisins
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

I use arborio rice and blitz some extra into a powder in the blender and add to the mix.. plus using milk from Jersey cows and fresh custard (not that yellow Birds gunk) it helps make it really creamy also use sultanas they plump up lovely during cooking.. 👍

Lol, Thanks cookery nation. sorry those measurements do not work for me though. I do not have the ability to measure by metric weight, I need non metric volume. thanks again though for responding so quickly. Peace

Ha! I wish I'd watched your video before experimenting myself. I got the proportions about right but cooked it overnight. Tasted fine but far too long to cook it. Thanks. I'll do it your way next time.

Yup, 2 + hours. That is because it is a slow cooker recipe. I also use a pc for a quicker option.
