Being a singleton is not hard at all it is peaceful and wonderful and you can fully be you. I never feel lonely. I have a dog and believe me he makes his needs voiced - walks and food. There are no football games on or boozed up male coming home or extra washing or food to cook when you don't feel like it. The bath is always free and I used to hate getting home to no milk in the fridge because someone else was too lazy to get it or the toilet roll being left on the holder, snoring, nothing better than a bed to yourself. Holidays a nightmare with moods etc and chest beating testosterone. Didn't even carry my bag. No - peace and calm. Not lonely. Happy.

I follow your ethos and go to the same park every day and do similar things and try to keep true to myself and not let others deflect me from that. It is about being wholesome and I am so glad you are single as I relate and find single women so interesting as they do not have to rush home and cook or worry about what their partner will say. It gets tedious when you are meeting for a cup of tea and your friend says I have to go home now I have been "out too long so and so will wonder where I am"? Really?? I am owned by myself not a man. Thank God. You have the freedom to think and act as you want and not be bent into thinking about how you have to behave or please someone else. The freedom is immense.

I love all your videos, every time I watched your video it helps me to slow down to relax and keep things from decorations more simple and get rid of 1/3 of my clothes and I love it, I will continue to keep everyday life simple and slow down too , Thank you !!

I love your minimal aproach in life, Ive found it lately for me so blessing as well. Year ago I was misdiagnosed with breast cancer, then cancelled thankfully, but I didnt get out of that feeling until this year. So i had to admit that I grieve and have to go through process it. I am getting divorced, after 20 years. And it's ok. I also have a child, who is off to college, and I will always be his Mama but I have to try and live, for myself. I am working on my Masters and 2 certifications. I have always wanted to live near the city. Have been a country gal for a long time. I sold it all, ALL of it! I downsized into 400 square feet. I cried the first night in my new space. I had a lot of emotion over everything. Alwayswill. I allow myself to be moved and be inspired. I move in silence and people are shocked when they find out all the things that have happened in the past 2 years. I'm a take a leap and learn how to fly kind of person. Life IS too short!

I feel this as well Jess about us being led to live a hamster wheel life and that we are not really designed for that and should be living by our gut instincts and from our heart xx same with ex situation too. Had great times, great relationship, great holidays and great fun but I still ended it. He had kids and ex wife, that made it complicated but ultimately I just don't think I felt it was right in my heart as much as it was great. Still unsure if made right decision there x you do seem less tense and more relaxed and happy in Paris. More carefree. U seem more natural and happy xx

Do you have tips on writing for non writers? I’ve been told I’m a poor writer but I’d like to try writing blog posts. I have no idea what to do or how to engage with readers. Workshop on this style of writing perhaps? Always lovely to see you in my feed. Also… please take us along if you visit the south of France… #swoon 😎

I don't know who told you you're a poor writer but I want to pinch them under their arm where it hurts. That's AWFUL! My most basic advice is to read well and to write, this is what makes a writer. My creative writing class and storytelling class on substack go into much more detail if you want to dive deeper xx

Find “mentor texts.” What this means is you read and try to write something in a similar voice or syntax or style. So if you want to write blogs the first step is to read them, then find someone to imitate so to speak. Actually write a blog post using those things. This can help you expand your style and put more things in your toolbox. After a while you’ll find what feel you.
