Hi Kate I am loving your videos your work is just beautiful and creatively freeing. So inspiring to abandon the need for perfection we all seem to struggle with. I have heard other crafting people through KZfaq in the past yrs talk about having the very same issues with Etsy . Their shops suddenly shut with no reason with communication made impossible. It seems you are not alone in this.

🌸Hi Kate’s Mom🤗 Can’t believe you found an orange & pink napkin! I took over the “formal dining room” for my crafty space.😎 I had this thought today…Slow stitching is an “evolution” for those that love fibers & fabric as is Junk Journaling for paper crafters 🥰 (feeling poetic today 🤣). I live in the south where our winters are mild & marvelous. People from all over the country spend months here & go “home” when their weather is nicer. We call them “snowbirds”. I’m leaving in 10 days to spend a couple months with the grandkids. I guess you could call me a “Sunbird” 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️😉 much love

Hi Kate, sorry to hear about your problems with Etsy, I’ve had times when my iPad has done an update overnight and couldn’t get into my shop the next day. It’s really worrying, especially if you have it happen around Christmas or times when your orders are busy. I must say that I always found Etsy help very good, I’ve just emailed them in the contact on the help page and they’ve sorted the problem almost immediately. I hope you’ve got it sorted now! If not, just mention in your videos about any physical products you have for sale and ask interested people to email you privately. Of course this doesn’t help with digitals, but it’s at least worth keeping in mind. I didn’t know that you had a shop until the other day and wondered why there was nothing in it, I just thought you’d put it into holiday mode and had forgotten to change it when you got home. Well I do hope it’s all sorted by now, if not , try not to panic, it will be fine I’m sure. Thankyou for sharing your experience and beautiful work! Take care, June ❤❤

Hello 👋🏻, Kate! I’m actually making a nest. But mine is made of quilted blocks. Kathryn (K3n Clothtales) teaches how to do them on Wednesdays and I’m doing them, although I’m not a quilter and never dreamt of being one! But I join the blocks not like the quilters do: I join them with crochet and I made these boxes (my nests) for my threads. Hi Kate - had a lovely Friday evening stitching another Roxy vessel while watching and listening to you. Stitching is a wonderful way to unwind. Regarding your Etsy suspension, is it possible you accessed your Etsy account on any public or shared networks while travelling? I’ve read of shops being suspended where Etsy’s algorithm detected two shops logged on from the same IP address. I’m not an active Etsy seller though so others with more experience may have other suggestions. I hope it gets sorted and I am sure it will. Cheers, Christine 💛

So very sorry for how Etsy has treated you. They’re not friendly to the small business owner anymore. I left about a year ago. I hope you can get it resolved. All it takes is for someone to say you’ve copied them or you didn’t complete a transaction and they’ll kick you out without explanation. Good luck. Your pieces are stunning.

I like a more organized and put together way of sewing.not just whatever you have. I like more organized colors and sewing…. Not choppy . But it’s interesting to watch you make a mess! Ha!
