Next year. Ratchet & Clank 2016: Sly Cooper 2017: Wouldn't be surprised if a Jak & Daxter movie gets announced

Loved the games, super excited for this movie, glad they have the original voice actors, but they need to work on Bently and Murray's models... Badly.

This brings me to tears since I was one that played through the trilogy one if not the best game of my childhood

Perhaps an animated weekly cartoon would have sufficed...

Sly Cooper is a awesome character and deserve a Animation Movie.

I see that they're going or a somewhat realistic animal look in this trailer, but I really hope Murray lets fixed up. Who knows, with a release of 2016, maybe they'll perfect the characters.

All we need now is a Jak and Daxter movie and we'll have the complete PS2 Trio.

As a wee lad, when I was obsessed with the series, I sometimes had dreams of an animated show or movie of some sort, never did I expect this to become a reality.

Now I am waiting that long waited sonic movie for while. If Sony can do great job with Sly, it definetly makes Sonic's movie huge success (it's said that Sony has registred domains for Sonic movie)

I cant believe that there is going to be a sly movie!!!!!! I remember when the first game came out, I was sooo excited!!!! All of the games were amazing. Although the most recent one was a little sub par, but it was still good.

I am excite! Thought not as excite as I am about Ratchet & Clank.

I love this trailer and i played the first 3 still need to work on the forth but i will be ready to see it in 2016 so i will steal myself a front row seat to see this thief in the big screen

I would have settled for a movie animated like the game's cutscenes, but this allows more dynamic movement and flair, so no complaints from me. I hope they rework some of the character design, but everything else is pretty good!

It can't be EXACTLY like the games or it would be dull. I'm willing to look past the aesthetic choices they made because I just love sly cooper that much.

Just thought I'd share with everyone what I found on that little Facebook link they gave us in the trailer: "While I, Kevin Miller, cannot speak for the entire cast of the Sly games I can say I was not asked to play Sly Cooper in the film and told the part will likely go to an A-lister celebrity-type." Scratching this off the list of movies I want to see.

My thoughts: I have hopes for this film. I don't know if Sly's VA is the original from the games, but if it isn't, the guy's not bad but they need to bring back the original. Spot on for Bentley and Murray's voices though. Speaking of which, Sly and Bentley's designs look different, but acceptable. Murray on the other hand...needs a LOT of work. I pegged him a chunky but fit guy, not an overweight glutton. As fornhow this turns out, only time will tell.

Oh gooooosh nostalgia. For a teaser this was pretty good, ESPECIALLY for a video game movie. The sense of humor feels just like that of the games. ....Just please, fix Murray.

yeah they need to bring back Kevin miller. and sly never broke the fourth wall. he never looked at the camera. even when it looked like he was looking at the camera he was looking behind it. and he was the strong soft spoken silent charming type. he didn't use cheesy lines like in the Thieves in Time and in this trailer. how do I know this? I grew up with sly copper. but the animation in this movie is pretty good. and I wish they looked a bit like the sucker punch versions with the celshaded look but not every artist has the same signature artwork so that's okay.

Not sure how I feel about this. Sly's voice is off somehow. Could they not get his voice actor back? And it either takes place before Sly 2, or Bentley has made a machine to help him drive. Other than that, if they can do this right I would LOVE to see a good Sly movie. He was able to make an amazing return after a long time without a game, so lets see if he can jump into the movies just as well.
