Ilac, Arnots, Liffey Valley mall etc, very small shopping mall . Philippine's malls are massive..

Don't be surprised, population in Metro Manila only is 12M in comparable with Ireland which far low at 5M. Malls is a magnet to Filipinos who wanted to spend time with a colder ambience. Irish loves sunshine! Families would rather go out at the park with kids playing, walking with nature and watch game match. With these, malls have to cater the demand, build the largest and the biggest even taking over the sea to a land. They don't do that in Ireland, they protect the nature and sceneries.

One of the biggest problem in the Philippines is the transportation system. It’s very very hard to travel especially for tourists. That’s why the Philippines got such a low tourist arrivals compared to other SEA countries.

Traffic is understated , Cebu is just as bad . This needs fixing to attract tourism and keep it a good choice to visit.

I’ve been there many times, and I stayed at SM residence 3 days just a walk arriving to Mall of Asia…I’ll do it again on my next visit…missed it😊

Desiree , Hi. I’ve been to the mall of Asia twice. It’s about five times as big as the rose bowl stadium. My first trip there it was an awesome place. I was looking to buy some electronics, they have a building there with a second floor with nothing but electronics stores. The area was as large as a stadium. You could walk around that mall for 8 hours and still not see everything. That’s why I had to make a second trip there. And still was not finished looking around. A wonderful place to visit. I suggest you bring comfortable shoes to wear.

There's more than 1 super huge malls there. BGC, SM malls. Many hotels popping up everywhere Okada, Trump, Paris Hilton etc. There's giant malls in other islands too. SM Iloilo, SM Cebu, SM Davao, Tacloban. There's many European hotels especially in Iloilo City.
