For a moment there 1st and 3rd looked really close, but, 1st's route was just a lot more solid than 3rd's(which was amazing as well XD)

There's only 2 options for N64 TASing and I am personally far more accustomed to Mupen64 than Bizhawk, as are most SM64 TASers

Why does a gold star (so _not_ the ones from breaking the red wingcap box, unless they changed color) appear in the cannon area / cannon during 1:31 and 1:32 ?

Let's see. If I was pannen before my Task 1 route got disqualified because of a change in the rules and if HOLP is allowed… I would set a HOLP above one of the boxes pre-run and HOLP-throw a bob-omb using hat in hand from another cap box above the island which I got to because I started the run in the mountain cannon. Then, I would go all the way to the wing cap box which remains using a bloated bob-omb.

If u BLJ off of the moving platform at the beginning while in the koopa race does he still count that as cheating or not?

There was no 31st because there was a tie for 30th, but Kosmic got a 21.40 in 32nd and the 30th place tie was in 21.03
