The comedy comes from the fact that no one in history has ever said gigabum since its a combination of two words that are barely used seperate, let alone together, in the mainstream. Its an obscure insult to which the actual definition is less importance than how strange it is.

According to Johnny, Kaydop, Alpha54 and Extra are already confirmed not to be playing, which are three players of the six in the top two EU teams. So nah, it balances eachother out.

Not to mention that vksailen and Dmentza, 2/3 of another top four team didn't get drafted

To put it into perspective 12 players from top 6 NA teams are assumed to be playing, while only 9 from the top 6 EU teams are.

With like 8 of the top 15 not being able to play. Meanwhile eu has kaydop, alpha, and jack missing. NA definitely has the disadvantage and there is no denying that

Definitely a lot messier. But regarding the calendar thing, they already lost 3 of EU's best players (Alpha, Kaydop, Extra), which almost evens the playing field, with Justin and Squishy missing on NA. I think the EU list just sounded so much stronger yesterday, because they nominated any great player they could think of, without giving it a thought if those players actually would play.

At some point in the video it is mentioned that some of the nominated EU players have already refused to play because they had already made other plans, Rasmelthor's team in particular is down two players already and he will have to pick a third from some other GM's fourth pick. So it's actually wise of NA that they asked this question for every player, and careless of EU that they didn't.

People from EU go on vacation at similar days of the year as well...imo a lot of the NA boys don't want to play and just use the "vacation/busy" as an excuse to not show for whatever reason. If you listened, they began by picking the more debatable picks rather than the guaranteed yes's. Weird way to do it, but that's how it began for the first two, then it changed from the Firstkiller pick

It's the offseason right now, so a lot of the big na players are on vacation. That's why they left mist and atomic out of the pool, until they were able to get confirmation that they would get back home on time. Some names weren't chosen because they are na west players or in the west right now, like dreaz, lionblaze, or chicago, and would have absolutely horrible pings to the eu servers, so the coaches omitted them from the pool. They forgot percy plays in the west coast, so that's why dazerin got annoyed about his pick. Also, some players rarely play in showmatches or tournaments other than rlcs, like jstn, sypical, and squishy. The networking in na is way better than in eu, so the managers were able to easily contact their team captains during the draft or find out if the players would be able to make it or not.

Ur assuming all of the EU players are going to play lol. The GM's didn't even bother checking which players were available and which were not. Rasmalthors team is already down 2 players and more players are likely to drop out. It could very well be that EU scraps the entire draft and redo it.

Kaydop left DIG for VIT, Yukeo was substituted, he did poorly, Turbo left DIG and eventually he also left the region for NA because salt.

He got bored of Sweden and wanted to escape. GarrettG was looking for a new third for NRG at the time and Turbo was like, "pick me lol". And then they both laughed. And then Turbo was like, "but what if I'm serious?" And then the three of them with jstn won RLCS at the end of that season.

He saw how dominant NA is so that’s why he went there. Lol just realized for me saying this there will be haters saying some dumb as stuff
