For me, personally, it allows me to "shop my closet". I very rarely need to shop through the years. (I am also quite the savvy consumer.) I don't focus on labels; but on fabrics, quality, and how great I feel in them. As with all things in my life, I balance well *comfort, beauty, and practicality.* ⚖️ Price and cost-per-wear/use is also a significant factor for any of my purchases. Especially because there is so much to rotate, I am able to keep my clothes in great quality; and rarely wear the exact same combos, so everything can still feel "fresh". I also donate a lot, and I periodically sell some; especially if I wish to bring more of in. Downsides are of course storage solutions in smaller spaces, and perhaps it might produce a bit more laundry than others. To each her/his own. @@BL3SSed-Bliss I do the same thing, I also go through my clothes periodically and donate to a good cause and I shop my closet as well.Find really good quality clothes thrifting, I'm very selective as to what I purchase.
