I see youre listening to spotify, how do you go about it with the helmet? Im just getting into bikes. Rid properly for the first time yesterday, tried to put earphones in, but found it just sorta hurt my ears tbh, granted the earphones had moved outta place by the time my head was in the helmet 💀

Don't use headphones. Get a proper intercom with decent speakers, like a Cardo or Sena ideally. Also get proper motorcycle ear plugs, which are not any random earplugs. Else you'll have serious hearing problems very soon and there's no coming back from that. The main problem when riding is wind sounds at higher speeds, followed by the motor, then other vehicles, and on top any music you may be playing while riding through in ear headphones.

Moest helmets use a communication kit like cardo or sena to talk and listen to music. I myself use the cardo spirit HD. They are just basically a small set of speaker and a microphone which are really flat that go inside some spacings in your helmet. Go check out other toturials on youtube which explain it better.

am stuck between go pro hero 12 or the osmo action 4... idk which one to get

All my footage is shot with the dji action 4. I have never owned the go pro hero 12 but i have watched hours of comparisons. The overall quality of the gopro 12 and dji are basically the same because the camera's have the same specs. Only the colours on the gopro 12 are more vibrant, but you can fix that easily with editing on the dji action 4. The main reason dji is winning is because its easier to use then the gopro with editing etc. I hope this helps you.
