A brief About the work
This is a small renovation . We just added a Bed room and toilet in the first floor and a sitout as new construction but we organized the available spaces in a great way.
Combined the existing porch and sitout to make a good private drawing room. The existing dining & Drawing room had some doors at inappropriate locations we shifted them to get privacy and convenience.
A store near the stair made congestion to the stair way , we removed the store to shift the door of kitchen ( This created a space for the fridge) Also the stair became open by this activity.
We increased the width of stair by just locating the rail at the end . This saved a lot of money and natural resources.
Added window to the stair way to increase the light in the stair and dining room.
The veranda with an access from the outside made as a common toilet and wash area for dining.
The chimney in kitchen removed this created a large kitchen . we added a large counter with ACP cabinets over the new ferrocement shelves. The existing shelves also converted as good spaces with shutters.
The entire services of kitchen like gas storage , water filter etc. shifted to outer side of kitchen to get a clear environment in kitchen.
Solar water heater serves the kitchen and toilets. Which in turn reduces the gas consumption for cooking
The toilets refurbished.
In short the client got a value for money with in the available resources.
