Here I show the steps involved in making the bridge for this instrument. The changing scale requires that the bridge be set at a pretty steep angle relative to the center line of the soundboard. There is a 1 inch difference in scale length from the treble string to the bass string. The angled bridge makes it difficult to determine where the bridge pin holes should be drilled. I used a series of test pieces that were drilled to various string spacings in order to determine which straight-across spacing would give me the desired spacing on the angled bridge.
