Not gon lie I started watchin ya videos recently cuz I’ve been homeless due to covid reasons but live in my car for some time and since then I’ve learned a lot of tricks and solutions to survive in certain environments so I appreciate you making these videos definitely gon try that portable oven to make pizza 🔥

My father grew up in Gilbert, MN. Spent his teens canoeing and camping along the boundry waters. Even now at 82 he still talks so fondly about growing up in Minnesota. I show him these videos from time to time. He loves them! He wants me to take him back up to see his home town soon. Such a beautiful area.

Mav- worked at a few pizza places. For Neapolitan start it by hanging it from the 12 position and rotating your hands from 3- 12, like you are passing yourself the other side of the dough. Crimp your hands once the middle is thin and crimp the dough. Place it on the board and push the edges out to keep the air in, like you mentioned, and boom you have a great looking pizza dough. Just a thought! Great video.

I’ve got an original Uuni, before they became Ooni, and they are da bomb. These things cook at such a high temp a steak on an iron skillet takes less than 4 min to cook. Nicely done

That looks delicious! To help with your pizza next time, use parchment paper, it helps transfer pizza from point A to point B and the paper is removable after you fully cooked. Great stuff though Mav! I would love to get a portable camper like that for my 1985 Thunderbird

Next time you make pizza try putting corn meal on the "spatula" (cant remember the official name for it) before putting your crust on it. Makes it slide off super easy and gives a nice texture on the bottom of the crust.

I very much appreciate seeing you interact with ppl who randomly pull up and ask you questions. I grew with two abusive parents and I’m a mixed race person so I was never well socialized. Sometimes I don’t know if ppl have ulterior motives in approaching me so I can be very standoffish & suspicious of everyone. Been following for years now. Always happy to see a mav upload. Was hoping he would make it over to the Mexico City side, but glad he made it back from South of the Border with only a rat as the biggest issue. Keep up the great work Mav, and you know the drill…just keep on trucking.
