Small Brained American

Жыл бұрын

One of the strangest experiences of my life- these 2 countries have an extremely violent history, but for some reason, every single day India and Pakistan come together to host a huge parade that consists of special dances, chants, and a flag lowering ceremony. Ask any Indian and they will tell you they never wanna set foot in Pakistan, and vice versa. But today we're trying to walk across the world's most bizarre border, while a huge, bizarre ceremony unfolds around us. Like I said, a very strange day. Thanks for coming along.

This has got to be one of the most interesting videos i've ever watched. Living in America for my entire life, and never traveling out of country, I would have never guessed or expected a massive ceremony on the border between countries to exist. Do I know the reason for it? No. But the sheer rush to get in, chanting, and joy on everyone's faces makes me so happy and has opened my eyes to just how diverse the world is. The culture and traditions seen here were amazing, and I wouldn't have ever known they existed without watching this video.

coming from USA this guy chooses to experience aspects of India that I as a resident Indian all my life would never. I agree for 90% of the indians this is their life but there are surely much easier and convenient ways to travel. I am not complaining, it's your choice to experience and showcase this but I would also recommend that you pay the premium and experience the more convenient side of travelling across India and then document that experience too. It might be a more fulfilling experience even if the views are a bit less

@@rahilmalhotra001 aww... we have here a small minded indian trying to spin things. Your colonial master used their language(naturally) as the language of rule & governance. Now that they're long gone & no more in charge, you people are free to choose. But then again you people couldn't agree on a single common language as the "national" language because it will cause a civil war, and moreover find it more convenient to just keep the status quo of continuing on with the colonial master's language.
