This baby summit is strictly a basher. The 1/10 summit has the locking differentials and 2 speed transmission. I have both, and while they look similar, they are very different vehicles.

I love the 1/16 models. I have a mini e-revo, but I've got just one problem with the less expensive models(although all nice): the plastic spur gears are REAL easy to blow. I killed two in around a month. I'd like it if all models came with 32 pitch or Traxxas had optional meatal gears.

To be honest, I would actually like to see a nitro 1/10 scale Summit. For me, it means a lot for longer run times, different customization options, and of course it's a fueled off-road truck. It's pumped. It's badass. It's testosterone. It's _Traxxas._

I just bought this used brushless. Its got no batterys or manual... Can u please tell me. Does this take 2 batterys or one??? I Will be using lipo 2s! I just dont kno if I need 1 or 2 batterys

The 1/16 Summit is factory-outfitted with LED lights in the body and bumpers (front and rear). It is powered by the Titan 12T motor and includes the TQ radio system. As you noted, the 1/16 Summit VXL includes the Velineon brushless power system and TQi radio system with TSM. These are the biggest differences between the two models.

Robert Leland I kind of agree with it being $$$340 but the 1/16 e revo vxl with tsm is really great for bashing it's also really fast reaching speeds up to 50 mph gotta tell you for only $340 that's a great deal not only that it's traxxas who can possibly go wrong with traxxas

sorry, you can't. the stock brushed system can only take up to 2 cells. you could get the VXL-3m system that takes 3 cells, but it could get pricey.

What is the cheapest RC that I can use 3 cell Lipo? I got 3 Lipo battery 3-cells batteries for my Phantom 1 that don't physically fit and was trying to get something else to use them with. Thanks.

as far as I know, the Traxxas Bandit VXL w/ TSM is the cheapest car that can take a 3 cell. so long as your lipo pack is shorter than 14 cm, it should work.
