At the end where you see Davis standing out in the rain... It gives me the shivers! You can really see his mental agony. Sam Witwer really is the perfect actor for this role!

Man, as soon as I heard the this song starting on this episode, I literally gasped and yelled at my brother, cuz he loves it too, then I turned it up and pretty much shook with happiness! That's actually what happened. I just love this song! ;D

Season 8 was one of the best, Clark´s fight with Doomsday could´ve been better but overall it was a great season

I felt so bad for Jimmy this season. And you can't put everything he said on him, it was obviously the pills talking. And then they had to throw his life away in the finale. No cap, I teared up.

This song coinciding with Davis/Doomsday standing in the rain, just *chef's kiss*. What a masterpiece. I just saw the singer, Adam Gontier play this live and I was picturing this scene the whole time. Shivers down my spine.

i'm actually just done watching this episode, don't know if it'll change after I go on and watch the season finale, but I really like the davis bloome character, always liked when samuel witwer popped up on screen, and feel very sorry for him, all the forced to be monster / uncorresponded love thing, I'd love to see this character develop further

Clark coming to terms with his hero role and Davis learning to suppress the beast from within (buildup to a duel of freaks lol) but unfortunately all this buildup led to a brief and uneventful fight scene in the finale (although Smallville did make a nice dramatic segue way into Season 9's premise of Clark embracing his Kryptonian heritage and Destiny, transcendence/control over his weaker human/emotional side and role as Savior/Guardian/Champion of Metropolis and then Earth)

i fucking love the show but even in its all its glory, it was very anticlimatic and quite a regular occurence as plot holes. but i always loved the music they used in it.
