it's great to see Zatanna in live action for the first time in Smallville.

Serinda Swan as Zatanna was so fucking hot. I got a big crush on her just seeing her in this episode. Love her. So many beautiful Canadian women on this show. She's probably in the top 5.

technically they did acknowledge Batman. Chloe tells Clark that she's not going to get him a bat-signal or something like that. And in the episode with Tori Spelling, she says that she wants to see Gotham City from the view of her office.

I completely agree, but my friend said they should at least have Clark meet Play boy Bruce Wayne, just to say he does exists, she said it would be an interesting meeting too. I have to agree. Although I hope they don't introduce an actual Batman, because I think they would ruin his whole dark, urban-ledge, scary persona. Just like they did a horrible (in my opinion) Black Canary.

It has always bothered me that in comic books and canon Smallville and Metropolis are about 500 miles apart at least and yet so many times the TV show pretends they are about 20 miles apart. One of the bigger flaws.

While I agree with you, you should also keep in mind that he's still training out in the Alps or wherever he is developing his detective skills at that age, and it would seem kind of stupid for him to try and pretend he's a dumbass billionaire playboy if he apparently graduated at an extremely young age in order to have enough time to meet the criteria to be Batman.

thats what i think as well batman is too big for smallville,if batman would have showed up it would have contradicted the nolan movies and morever its smallville and its about superman,if batman shows up who is too big and iconic people will forget about supes and care about bats,i dont think WB will even allow batman in the arrow series,but if one things for sure if batman would have showed up it would have been the highest rated show ever,bats+supes for the first time together
