Before the Arrowverse changed the landscape of superhero TV, there was Smallville on The WB, featuring the man of steel alongside some of the biggest names in DC Comics. 20 years later, the cast Erica Durance (Lois Lane), Kristin Kreuk (Lana Lang), Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor), and John Glover (Lionel Luthor) reunited at C2E2 to tell behind-the-scenes stories, share their casting journeys, and share some funny moments you can only see here!

lmao, its not super obvious but if you are in the know, you can tell there's been plastic surgery and fillers. Just dreading the day she overdoes it and she looks like a completely different person.

I met them all at NYCC 2022 except Michael as he didn’t attend. I tell you…Kristin has NOT aged. Sure she has gray hair, but she could pass for 20s. I even joked with her that I’m the same. We girls have the genes. 😂

Forget the CW shows that came later, Smallville was the very best of Superhero drama for 10 years on TV. I personally like the stories of Smallville better than most CW superhero shows. Each episode was carefully written (with rewrites to make them better). Plus Smallville had an amazing cast of actors. Probably the best Lex and Lois in both TV or movies! Tom Welling does a great job also!

I started watching Smallville when I was 13 in elementary school. I saw the last season as a working man. I started watching it again one month ago with my two boys (7 and 5) and we all love it. I am really happy :-)

Love the cast so much, they are a part of my childhood. Got to say the entire cast aged so gracefully, but oh man... Kristin looks like she is in her mid 20s and Michael in his early 30s.

Out of all the hollywood actresses, Kristin was my hugest crush also. Lana seemed feminine in her beauty but at the same time wanted to be attached to the ones around her, wanting that connection and being honest of who she was at all times. The show made me feel sad of all the deception and barriers unfolding all around her while she did her best to hold onto what made her happy

@@meejmuas8686 I agree with what you said. but these were the things that added excitement to the series. on the other hand, I can say that I am still affected by the love of Lana and Clark. So I didn't like every scene I saw the Lois Lane character at all. Kristen Kreuk's unique beauty has a big impact on this. I think I'm in love with her :)

Smallville did things you’ll never see in superhero tv shows today, Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl are waaaaay more cheesey, Smallville had a big heart and after multiple watches and with age u can see how grown up the storylines were, it wasn’t a mess or shoved craziness in ur face like the Arrowverse shows, it knew when to NOT use cgi and spoil the visuals,

Michael is the second best live action Superman to date and Erica became my third best live action Lois and she had to grow on me at first. I had no idea who the actor was but she really impressed me after awhile and I am the type who will argue that not anyone can play Lois Lane.

But personality wise, she isn’t a Lois type - bossy, pushy, self absorbed, and etc…. Most of the characters Kristin played is more reserved. Even if she got the looks or the role, she probably won’t be happy or stayed on the show as long as she did.

The more I listen to Rosenbaum through Talkville and con appearances, the more he gets on my nerves. 😂 He's too in love with the sound of his own voice and wants too much attn all the time. Plus, the way he continues to pine for Kristin Kruek after all these years is weird.
