Fun fact, this is a second generation Smart. The first gen had a round turbo waste gate cover directly opposite of the fuel door. Needless to say, countless people (mostly women, mind you) ripped out the waste gate cover and started filling, leading to equally many flooded turbos and many a burning car. That forced Mercedes to replace the round cover with the slit you're seeing in the video. Some Dutch/German comedian made a short sketch about it once: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z96aabOIlsqUaas.html

Damn Scott your dads a big strong man, who stuck that thumb into your neck. Then lifted you over his shoulder and run with you to the vehicle, threw you in and stuck your thumb into the hole where the .50 cal made a sweet big hole in your neck! It was probably instant in what your dad did for you at that split second reaction saved no doubt your life and your mum and dads baby boy, no matter that age you get to! On a serious note all aside Your very lucky Scott that many of us have dads who we believe to be super heroes in our young worlds growing up. You have Scott a real super hero who saved your life with quick thinking. That is without doubt that hero even as an adult, that’s still as a adult is a hero to you and all of us who watched what happened that day. So we can still see what your doing still today, that you love doing and we love watching. Your dad is without doubt dad of the year and should be recognised for this in some way? Anyone know do they have awards like this in Scotts state?

There is no relationship like a father and his grown son, car and pews brought me out of some really hard times. And to see you guys together makes my heart happy because dad helped save his amazing son, that why you put a thumb in it. This content with you and your dad reminds me of the things me and my pops used to do before I moved to far away to work on things together. You are two very lucky Scott’s especially to be making more videos after the bad thing that happened. God bless you both

Yo daddy Scott if you buy a diamond tipped blade for that grinder you’ll really appreciate it. I’ve had mine for over ten years and I’m a plumber cutting cast iron,concrete,rebar, anything ceramic and it’s never exploded into shrapnel. Work safe and thanks for the video.

The good thing with those Smart cars is that most of the exterior panels can be removed really really easily! Also its great to see more of Kentucky Sr in the videos!! Keep it up gentlemen!!
