That…actually looks awesome! I showed my wife, and was shocked that she likes it too. And she’s not the camo/off-road type. She actually said she wants one. I hope you keep this and Ralph around for the long term. Use ‘em, yeah. But leave the real “stunt work” for the Cruiser and Malibu.

I want one!!! But that thing is going to fold like an accordion on the first bump with you two in there. Need some steel on bottom to stiffing it up since you cut of the top supports.

When I was a kid we thought we were bad ass for scraping a 125 dirt bike to make a super fast go cart. Nowadays youtubers cut entire cars in half. I wonder what trouble we’d got into if we had cameras to make money off our shenanigans

It looks great but I see 2 potential safety concerns. First, most any side impact will cause the bar to bend or break where the slots are cut for the handle. My next concern is that the handle could do some serious bodily harm If you were to be thrown against it over rough terrain or from a side impact. My suggestion would be to keep the bar uncut and use an electric solenoid or magnet at the rear of the bar to move the bolt. You could activate it with a door lock rocker switch. If you keep the manual slide, remake the handle U shaped (like a trigger guard) and make it as low profile as possible. Looks cool!

I used to be in charge of importing cars into Los Angeles for movies and car shows back in the early 2000's. I remember this smart car when it first came in for a car show. It was the only car that we've ever lifted with a single forklift on short blades without having worry about it falling off. Was were also able to put it up on the racks with regular palets. lol.

Scott Sr. mentioned liking the artistic side. Vinyl looks good, but I highly suggest trying out an air brush. I think you’ll have a lot of fun with one and it’ll take your artistic ability to the next level with a little bit of practice. At the very least, you could do some cool fade effects on your vinyl decals and give them more depth.
