These are epic kits, just fitted one to the kitchen cabinets as under-cabinet lighting, the colour is very vivid and will even do xenon white

Great vid, do you think I could substitute the led strips for normal 12v led lights? thinking of putting this in my boat but for main lighting also which will be 12v.

Thanks for the comment. All depends on the coverage you want in your home. Worth just getting one initial and seeing how that goes. I have 2 device downstairs and none upstairs as there is no need.

nice as far as it goes - how bright is it in a room - can you change the colours with voice commands? from google home and Alexa

It can be pretty bright in a rooms to the point you don't need the light on, but best as an ambient light. I've got it in the area in the middle in the though lounge and works well. And yes you can change the colour with voice commands with both the Google Home and Amazon Alexa.

Geek Street fantastic, I plan to pimp out my camper van and this is a great help 🤙🏻 One more question, do you think you could run two simultaneously and alexia would support them. I.e. One could be kitchen and one dining room etc? Also amazed it can control colour

Nice, should be pretty cool in a camper van and in answer to your question yes you can add multiple devices there is no issue with doing that. Believe it or not you can actually add in 2 different houses if you want and control from one location.

Hi geek street, got a couple of queries i need 20 metres does it need to be 1 controller for 5 metres or can i chain together 20 metres and run off one controller and then im only using one socket?? and if i only need one do they sell the strip lights without controllers as an addon??

Thanks for the question, yes you can chain multiple ones together. I've added another 10metres by buying this product: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/j656pNKZr6i9k30.html And it seems to work fine I've not added more that that. Hope that helps.

Hi, I have 3 LED strips setup all on my WI-FI network using a RGB WI-FI controller on each of them, all 3 of them are in the same room as my router, they all work fine however, when they are on they keep losing connection so I have to keep turning them off at the mains for a couple of minutes then back on, but after being back on for abit they all do it again, does anyone have any ideas why?

There is a known issue with routers and Google home and Chromecast but I guess that not your issue.

Could be the server the devices are connecting to in the cloud. I tend to stick with smart life as it's pretty stable.

Check the connections on the LED strip if it still doesn’t work just get a refund sounds as if its faulty.
