Never have I heard these guys talk about how blessed they are because their sins are forgiven, or that they are being conformed into the image of Christ. These are the things given freely to the Redeemed that no amount of money can purchase. These are the true riches.

I agree, noting wrong with having money as long as it doesn’t have you. If we are so entitled to be rich, why was Jesus Christ poor? He had no home; He wasn’t rolling in dough. Everything belongs to Him, yet look how our Lord lived. He showed us how important riches and material things really are.

I was in a church decades ago where the pastor said his socks cost more than our full outfits! That was my last day at that church! I was awarded millions due to a wreck. I can't walk and I suffer severe pain a lot of my time. I can say that here and remain humble but because I'm using a different name. I'd gladly give every penny back if I could walk or not suffer pain. At least God gave me a generous heart and the ability to discern and share the gospel. I will pray for you for free, you don't need to send me money. If you want to tithe, do so in your own community. Volunteer if you have no money but most importantly, develop a secret space for you and the Lord and start up a relationship. Just because you can't see him doesn't mean he isn't there. He is not of this world, but he is in this world and of this world. I feel blessed due to the incredible love that I feel from the Lord. Thank you brother for exposing this. My son and i had a long conversation yesterday about one of these guys that came to his church. He said he walked out when he started bragging about his house ant so on. My son had a talk with his pastor about not supporting this guy and stop him from coming every year. I was also caught up in thus prosperity gospel for years and got out of it. Where in the gospel did Jesus charge for healing. They will preach hell fire on not tithing or giving. I believe that u can give as much as you want. So if a person is tithing and ended up with bad health and not be able to work or give they are going to burn in hell? Saints please study the word and don't be deceived!
