I am a female and I think we should follow what the scripture says. I heard a minister on the radio one Saturday. I was going to visit their church because I'm looking. When I called to ask about the hours, he said, " Me and my wife co- pastor." I never heard her on the radio preaching, but I decided not to go for this reason. Why can't we just do as the Lord asks? Why must we always find a way to put our own spin on things? There is already ENOUGH false doctrine out here. There are times when we have to draw conclusions from scripture, but other times not. Haven't we got enough problems due to disobedience? Simple things we can't do.

In the qualifications given for "bishops" (i.e., pastors, elders, shepherds), Paul twice says they must be "the husband of one wife" (1 Tim. 3:2; Titus 1:6). Unless you are willing to accept two lesbians living together and call it a "marriage," there is no way for a woman to be "the husband of one wife."

We must look at every corner of a square for a square to be a square there is no inequality in a square..if a person comes into your life to destroy your family and also may destroy your husband do you stand by and do nothing as a woman or do you help him and stop the evil doer. It is we have been dooped to follow all this whitewashed dominant teaching. This is not in the context in which these scriptures were written. Because the white theologians are of the dominant race their understanding of the scriptures were made authority because there was no one else to give there understanding everyone in the room was of the lighter persuasion and blended cultures, not of the African diaspora. So can we rely on the ones that used that same theology to tell us that God was white. So if not how do we take their word about women when we know that they have and still belittle their women. Look at Candice Queen of a African nation with no husband or king but ruled the land over men and women. So how do we as African descent ignore these possibilities or proclivities of our ancestors for what the white man's ancestors said because that where his understanding is coming from.

This Bible was made from God for his only chosen people Israel not for the world who stole it and applied it to them. Soon all will be revealed as there are 12 gates to go to new Jerusalem. With names of the 12 tribes of Israel. Which door are the other nations going through? With their masters the Israelites all other nations will be their servants for life. All of what I said is in the bible. Because the bible is for his chosen people only they can understand it. Other nations will make their own interruptions. And if you disagree I'll give you a scripture where god says all other nations but his chosen is nothing to him. Less than nothing. If you aren't a black Israelites you gonna be a servant

So what do you call the KZfaq women speaking about the Word of God or Biblical teachings? Do you consider them to be preachers? I thank God for many of the women I have heard minister because the Word in its purest form was spoken. I don’t say a women should be a Pastor but I don’t se that women can’t speak on Biblical topics. In Corinthians instructions were given regarding women prophesying and praying, which is speaking out loud and they often held serves in their homes. As a teacher there are husbands and wives who attend my Bible Study so I’m not going to tell the men they can’t come. Most men are not teaching the Bible verse by verse so I don’t want to turn anyone away. I will continue to do what God has called me to do via my small group setting. I personally don’t think teaching is having authority over a man. Expounding on scripture is not taking authority over anyone!

Great teachings on a difficult subject... done with grace and love! My wife just got into a spat, yesterday, about this exact issue and it warmed my heart to hear that she went to these exact areas of scripture and tried to lay out these teachings! What I can say is that the ones (both men and women) who have issues with these areas of scripture tend to be filled with pride or at least not understanding due to not letting go of their pride... truly humbling themselves and admitting their faults in not truly understanding this area of the scripture. Women (and only certain and specific women) had definitely been used in HUGE ways, but that's usually associated with the lack of Godly men, this is why context is extremely important for true understanding and why we're not to "cherry-pick" the scriptures and manipulate them into our wants! The path is narrow and painful! God bless you all and stay on the path of The Way.

The point is that women have important work and functioning in the local church. Though they are limited from usurping authority from a man (1 Timothy 2:12), we cannot go to the other extreme and teach that women be quiet nobodies in the Lord’s body. While women cannot be shepherds, deacons, or formal preachers, women can and must perform acts of righteousness. Outside of those leadership roles, women can and must participate in all the other works of the church. We must stop focusing so much on what cannot be done and teach women to see all that can and must be done. From hospitality to teaching, from caring for the sick to reaching the lost, you also can work. Stand in the back and be a greeter of our guests. Teach the lost. Do the work.

Wow if this is the smart christian channel we need to be smart. Please study Pauls writings. He acknowledged the several woman who served with him in ministry and had a woman read his letters in the synagogues. Paul spoke culturally not universally when he said he suffer not a woman to teach. And in Timothy he was speaking to how to correct this issue in Timothy's church. Priscilla and Aquila , Junia, Phoebe, and the multiple women in Romans 16 Paul acknowledged and didn't chastise because in Roman culture women had more rights. In 1 Corinthians 14 Paul discusses the matter of spiritual gifts in the first century church. After instructing the church that those who speak in tongues had to "keep silent" if there was no interpreter, and that one prophet had to "keep silent" if another prophet was speaking, he says, "Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church." (1 Corinthians 14:34-35). To this passage is attached the following admonition, "If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord." (1 Cor. 14:37).

Why does it seem like Christianity is the only religion that has this issue? Islam, Hinduism, Buddhist, etc. seems to have this in order or at least it is not a topic of dispute? I believe Jesus is the "Only" way and what the scripture says is true but at the same time, Christianity is the most popular form of religion that its followers take scripture out of context or even change it to fit their own narrative? My point is, it seems to me that other religions see the sacredness of its belief more than Christians see theirs?

The devil attacks the Word of God through “disputes” between people, in order to try & silence the truth of Gods Word. There are things that women can do, but they just can't do it in the church. There is authority given to the man that can be usurped by the woman, but they shall be judged for this sin. Every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward. We cannot ignore the fact of usurpation of authority. Today's culture has crept into the church, and the word of God has been displaced. Vain glorious persons have sought their own glory rather than the glory of God. Women are to keep silent in the church, plain and simple, but some will say that this does not mean what is plainly stated. God said it, not the local pastor, not the TV evangelist, not that woman Jezebel who CALLS HERSELF A PROPHETESS. Judge in yourselves, whether we ought to obey God rather than man.

I think the biggest thing the church gets hung up on in this position is the difference between an "office" - pastor, elder, etc that a woman is not, can not be ordained to, and that fact that outside of the office and pulpit we all in different ways speak forth the gospel.

@@VictorianMaid99 No ma'am. Theologically, Pastor (Bishop, Elder, Minister) is considered an "office". Specifically when a man is called by God, and then men ordain him to that office. As you know, that office comes with much more responsibility than just preaching, and this is the office and leadership that God has called only men to. But, I agree with brother Corey, and any time we witness, sing, teach, and live out God's word we all preach. The Great Commission was given to us all, and some form of preaching is necessary to fulfill that. As the church, we ought not confuse the office of leadership for men, and slap titles and licenses on a woman and put her in the pulpit. Neither should we should we shut women up from fulfilling the Great Commission and utilizing her gifts to do so, even when she has a speaking gift (using that gift in the proper context).

Some of the video examples of female preachers are not the most convincing. I also think much has to be considered when entering this debate. Still and all, I do find that more male Christian KZfaq hosts are the most combative and messy. So much time from many of the men is spent "calling out" others. On the other hand, I find that most women preachers, whether on KZfaq or other speaking forums, are at least focused on ministering and not defending their position. I've often heard that Deborah was used because of the "weak men", but could not the Almighty have strengthened a man to perform the same role? I'm not convinced that God couldn't use a single man out of all His people. There are some dynamic female preachers. Some of the "called" men could actually take some lessons from the well versed, season women. The Bible must be fully honored and not partially observed, given your position. Paul also teaches in 1 Timothy 2 that women should not have braided hair, nor wear costly apparel, nor wear pearls and gold. Could not 1 Timothy represent needful order to be established specifically at Ephesus? Not to be argumentative, I just wonder if this epistle was for a specific group during a specific time. If this same approach is fully observed in our daily lives, many men would be without jobs and many boys would be homeless; a lot of managers are female and many boys are raised by single mothers. I pray that we all continue to ultimately look unto Jesus and properly consider Scripture. Nice presentation Brother, nonetheless.

Women do have a role in the Church such as giving thier instructions to the younger women, providing their testimony, translation of another language, encourage and prophesying to name a few. This should be done at an appointed time and authorized by the Male Bishop(s) beforehand and it is to be done in an orderly manner but not during biblical studies or preaching. Outside of the building used by the Church, women can share the Gospel of Jesus Christ but if they are asked questions, they should refer that individual to a God fearing Brother in the LORD, especially if the person asking the question is of the opposite sex. Proof of only men being called to hold the office of Bishop or deacon are easily understood if one uses proper discernment. First, they are called to have one wife. A woman can never biblically obtain a wife. 1 Timothy 3:2 KJV A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 1 Timothy 3:12 KJV Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well., Scripture is specific as to why women are to not have authority over men when it is concerning Scripture or doctrine. 1 Timothy 2:13-14 KJV For Adam was first formed, then Eve.[[14]] And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. I believe it is also important to note that God values women just as much as men but has put a larger burden on men concerning Scripture than women. Men will be held accountable for leading the family closer to Christ daily. It is not that one is better, just that we all must follow the roadmap or role given by God. 1 Corinthians 11:3 KJV But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Women in this scripture is referring to a wife. A man is not the head of every woman, but his wife, or single woman would be uncovered. We are also covered by God, covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. Also, there is plenty of female leadership/ministers in the Bible, who worked & ministered with Jesus & Paul, a female Deacon, many Prophets, one Apostle, one Judge & one warrior, many Evangelist in the Bible. Pricilla & Aquila are referenced as Pastors/Teachers in (co-Pastors/teachers) in many commentaries. A great book / videos on women in minister is Kenneth Hagin, “ the woman question” …I assume this will be a debate forever. Many things ARE/WERE custom & we must understand Greek/Hebrew in the scripture, understand parables, the law in those days, & so much more. But, I am so glad that many women are being led by God, walking in obedience sharing the gospel & bringing many into salvation. Not answering questions, nor teaching because there is no man around, to be my covering, or take over the teaching that a woman is presently teaching, or that the man can listen if he is somehow accidentally present, simply makes no sense.??? Remember that God has chosen to call & anoint women to preach-teach the gospel… we too must obey him, know him & share him whenever & wherever he may lead us. Many married couples, God has bought them together for his glory, purpose & ministry. The Bible forbids a man to lord over a woman, pastors to Lord over there flock, or even women over men. We are forbidden to a lord over each other, which is the feeling I get, when I listen to the video/comments. Women are not in competition with men when we walk in obedience. We are special to God & loved, valued & respected, called, anointed & chosen as well; In the spirit we are the children of God, Christ /God is our head as well, we are his children. We are the only religion that brings so much confusion. It’s sad that Women are still fighting to be respected treated as a human being. Hats off to all the great men that love, respect & honor women, mothers, daughters, etc., even those that God called into ministry. God bless & deliver the body of Christ.

Leadership and ministry are 2 different things. Also we are talking of church order. You are right that women aren't supposed to bow to every man but again we are talking about church order. The man is the head. God does have purpose in the church for a woman. Some women just don't think it's good enough which is telling Yah that you know better and you don't. There were no women preachers in the Bible and Yah told you what the women would do in the latter days. They would prophesy. You have to take your emotions out of this bc I can tell you are taking it from an emotional place. Then you have to remember that we are talking about real Godly men. You make it seem like we are talking about just general men. We are not. If you have no Godly men around then you need to worship somewhere else. Narrow is the gate. Can you give scripture where women were preaching in the Bible? I am just asking.

Phebe a deacon? I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea: That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also. Romans 16:1-2 KJV In 1 Timothy 3:8-12 Paul lays out the qualifications for a deacon: 1. A deacon is self-controlled in speech, appetites, and actions (1 Tim. 3:8; see also 1 Tim. 3:11). According to Paul, deacons must be “dignified, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for dishonest gain.” 2. A deacon is sound in the faith (1 Tim. 3:9). Deacons must “hold the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience,” which means that they must have a firm grip on the truths of the gospel and live consistently with those truths. 3. A deacon has been tested (1 Tim. 3:10). Paul writes, “Let them also be tested first; then let them serve as deacons if they prove themselves blameless.” Practically, this means that deacons should have a proven track record of faithful service before they are appointed to the office of deacon. 4. If married, a deacon is faithful to his spouse (1 Tim. 3:12). If single, the deacon must honor Christ with his body (1 Cor. 6:18-19). 5. A deacon manages his children and household well (1 Tim. 3:12). Does the way he manages his household indicate that he will faithfully serve the church’s needs? The basic message is that deacons are to be Christians whose trustworthiness, self-control, and soundness in the faith shows that they are able to be trusted (i) to faithfully care for the church’s physical needs and (ii) to serve as an example of faithful service to others. Verse 12 is clear: Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. 1 Timothy 3:12 KJV Nowhere in these scriptures do I see room for a woman to be a deacon. I could be wrong.

If a woman cannot have authority over men then why is it OK to break that rule if it's your mother or your grandmother? The Bible didn't put a stipulation on it it says a woman can't teach a man or have authority over a man. so we can break the rules when it's your mother? God is not the author of confusion. It is written. A mother as we saw Mary's position with Jesus was not one of authority once he was a man. So a male child is a child and is in training. Once he is a man he is under God's authority and mother and grandmother are just relational but always are secondary. Primary is God. Often mothers and grandmothers don't let go and let God. We hold to tight. So we must obey to not cause men to stumble also. 🙏🙇‍♀️Praying women would learn obedience to God is so it will go well for all of us. God knows what we know and what we don't know. He knows what we can't understand about His perfect order and our rationalization of wrong shows a lack of trusting His truth when we do what we want from human understanding.

Minister is not a preacher. And when I look at how the angels came to Jesus Christ in the wilderness after overcoming the lies of the devil. The angels came and ministered to Jesus. I asked myself why does Christ need to be preached to when He Himself knows the word and used the word to combat the devil. But that was my observation. The angels came and served. And when we observe how this perverse and rebellious generation has changed the roll of titles to justify their own desire to contradict a clear instruction. And you hear all the time in some of these black churches from women and men saying we are all members of the body and serve in their own way. And as you said they run to Galatians and insert their own personal opinion to align with our current society norms. So they say men and women are equal in all things according to their interpretation of that particular text. Which is taken out of context. We do not conform the scriptures to our current societal norms. But we conform to the word of God who reveals the truth of this world societal norms that is enmity against Gods word.

Regarding female chaplains in a men's prison, why would a woman accept such a role? Aren't there any men who can do it? In 1 Timothy, Paul makes it clear women are not to "pastor" men--teaching and exerting authority over them. But men can and should listen to women. Thanks for referencing your mom. Men need to submit to God, just as women need to.

I question ❓ that story about the woman at the well...... many said she was a witness and testified about Jesus Christ to the people of that town...... throughout that entire passage I see stuff that tells me something different.....is not this the Christ? And it wasn't confirmed that he was indeed Christ until v 42 after they had spent some time with him............. what did I miss??........ she said I met a man... not I met Jesus Christ..

The Samaritan woman never taught but she testified of what she heard from Jesus Christ. A woman (especially Aged one) can teach fellow women, TITUS 2:3-5, KJV. In a public service where men and women are then A WOMAN IS TO LEARN IN SILENCE WITH ALL SUBJECTION, 1 TIMOTHY 2:11, KJV. This doesn't mean she doesn't have knowledge or can't be able to teach men but because GOD'S WORD orders her to learn in Silence. PHEBE was not a DEACON but a servant of the Church of God Almighty Forever. Phebe is disqualified from being a DEACON due to SCRIPTURAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DEACON OF GOD'S CHURCH, 1 TIMOTHY 3:8-14, KJV Let us follow God's Word Almighty Forever and we shall be blessed in the Mighty Name of JESUS CHRIST. Recall, we shall be judged by the Word of God Almighty Forever, JOHN 12:47-48, KJV.

women are not to be pastors ..a Good reason is because being a pastor is not only about standing infront of people and preaching but it's also one on one counselling too..imagine a woman preacher having to deal with a marriage issue ...how is she going to deal with the man In the marriage or just any other area ??..that's why God wants the man to be the pastor and his wife as a help ...in that situation the pastors wife can speak to the woman one on one if it's something to do with women issues while the pastor who is a man can speak to the man ...imagine being a man and being rebuked by a woman pastor ...me as a man would feel a certain way and it's weird for that to happen and imagine if you have your wife with you and yok get rebuked by your pastor that's a woman ...and what does that communicate to the children who see an example ship at home of a man being the leader but goes to church and you are under a woman ...it's really weird ....it makes me think of jezebel who it seems was the head of a religious group ,the bible says that she had priests ..jezebel ren her home and ren the idol worshipping if I may say ..church of her time ...shes also the one that rebuked elijah the real man of God ...her home was out of order and her whole life ...and thats why you see these churches ren by women being out of order ...then you have to put innthe emotional makeup of a woman and it becomes even more weird trying to run a church ...that's why in the bible it says ..women admonish the women ...it does not say for example that the older women admonish the younger men to love their wives ...no it says let the older women or mature women admonish the younger women to love their husbands and take care of the home ...then also is that these churches are filled with weak men ...because yes a real man might visit one service or two but as a man they won't stay in that kind of church for long because men want men to lead them not women ...but it's this way becaue of the last days ... everything in society is being turned upside down ...now you have some men saying they are women and vice versa ..even the military catering to this weirdness and even allowing women to be in the military in the infantry ...there is soo much weirdness happnening but it's as Jesus predicted ..and the more we get closer to the anti Christ coming to power the more things are immitating his spirit and it will get worse as we get closer to the end

Preaching and testifying is two different things, when you testify your telling someone about the goodness of jesus..... and all that he have done for you. But preaching.... on the other hand is when you break down the scriptures and teach it to the people, a women should not teach a man and a man should leave when they find out that a women is peaching the gospel to men.... thats out of order. The bible says the Samaritan woman testified, it did not say she preached

If there aren’t enough men, then the Church has to suffer the consequences of It’s failure, just as we are in the music we sing, the false teachings we follow, and the distractions that draw us away from God like having popcorn and a movie instead of Sunday School. A woman sharing a revelation or sharing the Gospel with men is not teaching or preaching, it’s sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. Mark 16 shares with us the events that happened after Jesus rose from the dead. He sent messengers to proclaim His resurrection to His Disciples, but they did not believe. Afterwards, He appeared unto them Himself and in verses 14 and 15, this is what He said: 14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Now keep in mind, He first appeared to Mary Magdalene, so why didn’t He command her to do as He commanded His Disciples? Additionally, Titus 2:3-4 tells women specifically who they are to teach. God is not conflicted in His commands to us. We, like the world, have assumed women are equal to men and can do as men do, but that is not what the Word of God says. He placed order in the Church, and because of our lust, all we see is disorder and the falling away the Word teaches us about in 2 Thessalonians 2:3

People get 1 Corinthians 14 all wrong don't try and make the scripture what you want based on your own thoughts God's way are higher and His thoughts are not like ours. When you use this scripture please use it in the right context. Read your Bible, the strong concordance, as well as the commentary for understanding. Paul was saying this not that women can not preach it was because he didn't want the women asking questions during the those times in church because it was bringing about confusion and disrupting the teaching so he told the women to ask your husband's when they got home to teach them if they didn't understand at that moment what he was saying. Women can preach I don't know were people are getting this religious spirit from. Take account that those where in those days as well. Blessings and Peace. Commentary Let your women keep silent in the churches: Paul has already assumed the right of women to pray or prophecy publicly (as stated in 1 Corinthians 11:1-16). Here, he means that women do not have the right to judge prophecy, something restricted to the male leadership of the church. i. Instead of judging prophecy, women should be submissive to what the leadership of the church judges regarding words of prophecy. b. If they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home: In the ancient world, just as in some modern cultures, women and men sat in different groups at church. Among the Christians in Corinth, there seems to have been the problem of women chattering or disrupting the meetings with questions. Paul is saying, “Don’t disrupt the meeting. Ask your questions at home.” i. In the Jewish synagogues, men and women sat apart. But if a woman chattered or called out to her husband sitting far off, she would be dealt with severely. The Corinthian church may have adopted the same kind of seating arrangement, but with many women from Gentile backgrounds, they did not know how to conduct themselves at a church meeting. Paul teaches them how. c. It is shameful for women to speak in church: Again, because Paul assumed the right of women to pray and prophesy under proper authority in 1 Corinthians 11:1-16, the context suggests speak refers to either the judging of prophecy (something for the leadership of the church to do) or to disruptive speaking

QUESTION: Deborah lead Israel as a Judge in the Old Testament. She led for 20 years. I ask you so does this not make it a contradiction, now that women cannot lead? What I mean by this is that many are saying that women cannot lead. I know that the Bible is not a contradiction.

Proverbs 14:12 (I)There is a way that seems right to a man, But (J)its end is the way of (K)death.13 Even in laughter the heart may sorrow,And (L)the end of mirth may be grief.14 The backslider in heart will be (M)filled with his own ways,But a good man will be satisfied [c]from (N)above. 15 The simple believes every word, But the prudent considers well his steps. 16 (O)A wise man fears and departs from evil, But a fool rages and is self-confident. People, both men and women do things that appear good in our own eyes. Yet if it isn't obedience it doesn't profit the man/woman. Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day [when I judge them], ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, and driven out demons in Your name, and done many miracles in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them publicly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me [you are banished from My presence], you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].’
