I totally get where the young lady is coming from. I used the same rationale to justify being an elder when I was ordained at my church. It was not until GOD opened my eyes and gave me understanding of how his church's structure is built upon the way mankind was created and how sinned entered the world. The difference between her and I is, I was open to correction, and she does not seem to be. I have the gift of teaching, but I teach women as permitted by the word of God. If I was in public, would I share the gospel with a man? Absolutely, but that is totally different from having spiritual authority over a man.

Do you understand the culture of the Bible especially what we called the New Testament? Do know or understand that what we called the New Testament were private letters to different believers and the Church Body at that time? That was voted on and made into Canon Law by the Roman Catholic Church because it help pushed their agenda?

You can't reason with many in the younger generations in the west because decades of feminist ideology germinated the seed of jealousy that Satan gave Eve in the garden. It villainized thee purpose of the man as a leader and promoted the same mindset that the trans movement has... changing the original gender roles in the home and then the church.

It's worth noting that these biblical restrictions on women's roles in the church do not prevent women from evangelism. We can go out into the world and tell the lost about Jesus. You don't have to preach or lead church or be in the spotlight to share the Gospel with other people. That works best on a personal level anyhow.

As a man that agrees with pretty much all Corey said hear, I think he and other don't acknowledge this fact (women being Evangelist) clearly. Even he added the caveat of doing this to UNSAVED men outside the church. Evangelizing, as in spreading the Gospel and truth of God's word, OUTSIDE the church is Biblically fine. I consider what the woman at the well and what Mary did was a form of evangelizing as that act itself implies OUTSIDE the church. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

The gospel is a teaching. The first and most important of all. If a woman can teach a man the gospel, she can teach all the lesser teachings to men. This is logic. Even in the teaching/preaching of the gospel, a man may ask a woman about something scriptural/spiritual. So if the man asks about the so-called 7 deadly sins, she can't say a word? If indeed she can speak to him about this as an unsaved man, then she can't once he becomes saved? When all this becomes about gender, instead of the Holy Spirit, there is confusion.

Prophesying and being a PASTOR is totally two different things. A judge and a PASTOR are totally two different things. She's saying let's stick with one thing, yet she's all over the place. Since a woman could be a pastor in the Old Covenant, a woman can be a pastor in the New Covenant. Simple really. I suggest my short and free essay on Deborah. The verse about Gal 3:28 is not a justification scripture for women to be pastors. Reading the scriptures around it explains the proper context. Gal 3:27-4:7 is speaking about heirs to God. It is about being baptized into Christ and that we are all on equal footing once one does so. Therefore Jew nor Greek (Gentile) does not matter. Once we accept Christ, we all inherit the promise and no longer under the Mosaic law.

But in His wisdom ,His knowledge,I understood to be humble to the truth as to her who claimed to see through God's eyes.....the bible says to seek peace and pursue it....for me that's against my emotions to be able to walk in love.....😇

I'm a woman and I have had men asking me for marriage and they only want to bring up the part that a wife must submit to her husband, and I 100% agree and have NO problem to submit to my husband (when I get married) but when I bring up the husband's responsibility they don't want to hear it. So I say no thank you.

@kathleenking47 with that thought let me guess you are single ,when I married my wife, I had nothing ,she had nothing, but together we built a home ,because she stuck by me she doesn't want for anything and because she is submissive and I love her ,which in turns makes me listen to her when she talks about her home ,( my house) so when she has a opinion on things I take it in account does it helps our family and if it does her opinion stands .so if looking for a man to give you ,but if he falls, what can you give him ?Nothing ( you would leave him) and that's why you will stay single ( in my opinion)

You err in your understanding. The Bible never taught that it is the final authority. That’s man made and it’s false. No man should make up things about God. None of us can prove that the Bible is the final authority. You have no idea what more God will present to us. The BIBLE doesn’t tell us everything, though we do know a lot. There’s much more. Earth is not the only planet God created. The Bible that God gave us have been corrupted and precious things taken out of it and things added to it. Look at all the hundreds of versions and translations of the Bible that differ from each other. Do you really think that God is the author of confusion because the none of us understand the Bible the same way. How then can it be the final authority when there’s no conclusive agreement to what the interpretation is. Furthermore the Bible was not written in English. The Holy Spirit is the final authority of God. The Bible cannot be the final authority because humans are the ones interpreting it and there’s too many false interpretation. The Bible doesn’t testify of itself. Even Jesus tells us that by saying he doesn’t testify of himself. The Holy Spirit testifies of Jesus. Jesus Testifies of the Father and the Father testifies of Jesus. We can’t even testify of ourselves in the end. It will be Jesus who will testify of us to the Father.

The way the young lady interpreted ithe scripture in 1 Corinthians and 1 Timothy is how I was taught. Additionally, we were taught that Paul was speaking specifically about what was happening in the Corinthian church regarding women at the time. It was not directed to all churches. However, the way Cory has explained the scripture makes sense. I agree that the bible is clear that men are to be pastors. When I was in my 30's I went to a church led by a woman. Eventually, I decided to find a church led by a man. I do not agree with women as pastors, however, I am still grappling with women as ministers - teaching all. I know women ministers who are excellent teachers of the word. The church I attend, however, does not allow women to teach men. The pastors and elders are all male, and I do prefer that. I love to see men in position of leadership in church.

I believe that is what Paul was talking about when he said women are to be quiet in the church and learn from their husband at home. She over talked Corey on several occasions and interrupted him several times. She missed the facts because she was wanting to be defensive rather than being subject to be taught. Because another question of being a preacher that ppl miss is that you have to be able to teach AND to be taught yourself. Since a woman could be a pastor in the Old Covenant, a woman can be a pastor in the New Covenant. Simple really. I suggest my short and free essay on Deborah. Men and women are perfectly equal spiritually. She was a pastor, according to the scriptures. This is how the Judges are described in Chronicles, by God. A woman could only be given the authority by God to execute a man for his sin, if women are spiritually equal to men. A Judge could judge homicide cases according to Deuteronomy. Therefore Deborah, as a Judge, could execute a man for his sin. A Judge was cleared to teach from scripture as he/she gave a verdict, according to Deuteronomy. Since in Judges 4, men went to Deborah to be judged, a woman could teach men, even in the Old Covenant in a public setting. This setting in Deborah's case was under a palm tree. She used to sit under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim; and the sons of Israel went up to her for judgment. -excerpt Judges 4

I’ve seen a service where the actual word was preached, afterwards they ask a woman to come up and make remarks… all hell breaks loose. I’ve always known deep in my heart because the Lord was giving me discernment even though I didn’t really know at that time that’s where it was coming from, that this was out of order. I could go on but I’ve seen a lot. Right now it’s just me and Jesus and I’m very particular who I listen to. Let me try to summarize the TRUTH AND FACTS OF WHO DEBORAH WAS. We all know Deborah was a prophetess, but that title have no correlation to God’s chosen servants, THE PROPHETS (ALL MEN, NEVER A WOMAN), WHOM GOD CALLS AND ORDAINED TO BE HIS NUMBER 1 REPRESENTATIVE IN THE WORLD TO LEAD AND GUIDE HIS SAINTS. DEBORAH was a faithful Israelite leader who was inspired by the Lord. Her people had stopped keeping the Lord’s commandments and the Canaanites ruled over them. After 20 years, the Israelites began to pray for the Lord’s help. The Lord heard their prayers and told Deborah to gather an army of Israelites to fight against the Canaanites. Though the Canaanites had many soldiers and chariots, Deborah was not afraid like the Israelites army. Deborah knew the Lord would help them. Deborah’s Faith was very strong compared to others. Barak, the Israelite army leader didn’t want to fight, and ensured that Deborah should go with them to the battle that her strong Faith in the Lord would protect them. Deborah agreed to go. Deborah did instruct Barak where to go. She prophesied that it would be a woman who would defeat the the Canaanite leader Sisera. Her prophecies came through as Jael lured Sisera into her tent after her ran away when they were being defeated and she killed him. The Israelites kept the commandments of God and lived in peace for 40 years. Deborah was not given the task as a woman to preach the gospel and lead a church, which is the point that woman cannot be preachers and lead a church. So sick and tired of the woman’s movement want to wear the pants in the household and believe they are on equal footing with man when it comes to the offices of God for mankind. Woman have roles separate from man. Jesus never called NOT 1 WOMAN TO LEAD HIS CHURCH. IT WAS ONLY 12 APOSTLES. We all need to stop using our carnal mindset which is very easily deceived by the devil and understand with a spiritual mindset. One is darkness and the other is Light. They do not exist at the same time. Let’s get right with God with spiritual eyes. Otherwise we are in jeopardy using carnal thinking. God operates fully within the spirit and that’s the only way we can come to his Truth.

Just a thought; the direct correlation for many women especially black women wanting to be pastors connects with authority not being present in the household due to fatherlessness....the breakdown of the homes has led to disobedience as Scripture says Father's provoke not your children to wrath and females taking leadership is clearly in disobedience and the disobedience exists first due to sin and the effects of not having authority first in the home because men didn't take their rightful place which creeped into the church and society overall

I woke up to what sounded like a very prideful person. And according to 1 Timothy 3- this disqualifies a person to hold the office of Bishops and Deacons. Adam was first formed, then Eve. It is God who appoint man as the head of the family, and the wife is not to usurp authority. Paul exhorts women to be disciples and to maintain a conduct that would not discredit the church and what God assignment are we're to be subject to His holy and loving Spirit. Holy men being move by the Spirit wrote the infallible word of God. Paul wrote that the head of of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. (1Cor 11:3) Lastly that was an undisciplined discussion on her part it no wonder it is written for women to keep silence in the church. The Bible does not assign rigid social or church roles to men or woman, but it does placed headship and authority in husbands as abiding principles. The spiritual minded will receive Paul's instructions with apostolic authority. Those who rejects them are held responsible for the consequences of thier ignorance. I just had to respond sorry for being too long. Love you Be Smart

Some have even called Bro. Paul misogynist & patriarchal because they don't like his writing(s) regarding women & proper order in the church. I believe Paul loved women, especially the women of God, but he was gonna say it like it was as God gave him the insight & understanding. He not only states God doesn't call women to church leadership, he explained why😯.
