My wife is half Asian and she makes cracks on that half of her family just like these songs all the time, but we do a LOT of her cultural traditions. We teach our 8 year old about his Asian and Italian traditions. He cracks on stereotypical Asian things and Italian things. He doesn't get offended by it.
