What a beautiful home you have there! I really appreciated the fact that you went into so much detail in your video. It allowed us to see that you truly have an eye for home decor. I have to admit, I was not a fan of the previous owners aesthetic so I am of the opinion that you are a genius to have envisioned such a complete transformation. I love that your home has a theme and doesn't jump from style to style. I also love the fact that the light shines through so wonderfully and really makes your home look very bright and calming. Thank you Debbie! I must admit when my family and I first walked in on our first visit, we were a bit startled by what was in front of us.I had to pull it together quickly and focus so I could appreciate all the things the condo had to offer despite everything I was seeing. Honestly the previous owner was such a sweet lady who enjoyed her hats, she was an older black lady who taught for decades in Compton and was related to Lisa Bonet (aka Denise Huxtable!). While we were there she offered us some Gumbo and told me she knew the condo would be perfect for me. After that I knew it was meant to be. A genius, no, a bit obsessive with things once I get a bit of a vision? Yes :). I am so glad that you enjoyed the video, stayed tuned for Vlogmas. Have a happy first day back tomorrow!

My family and I just put up our Christmas tree and now I have the daunting task of lesson planning. Why did I wait till the last minute? Boy am I going to have a long night! Tears, tears, tears! I have so little time as a work from home, homeschool mom...but I found the time to watch this entire video! 1) because your voice is so pleasant...have you considered doing a story hour videos for elementary aged children? and 2) because your style is similar to my own and touring your home made me miss my last home I owned before getting married and creating a family. I love your mix of classy, chic, colorful, cozy and cultured furniture and finds...thats a lot of C's. Anyway...thank you for sharing this intimate part of your life with us...and for the mental trip back down memory lane!

Your home is sooo beautiful! I was inspired by so many things. I am sending my sister a link to this video because I'm trying to encourage her to buy a town home. This is the most beautiful town house I've ever seen. I loved everything about the tour - the rooms were amazing, your commentary was very informative and really opened my eyes about some of the places you shop at that I may have been overlooking and now will go check out. Beautiful home tour, I got a few ideas on some things I want to do in my home. I especially love how your baby has three of the cutest dog beds I've seen. I thought my Sasha was spoiled with her two beds, but honey Ms Genesis is all of that and a bag of chips with hers, lol. Great job on decorating you home, I would never want to leave.

Very beautiful home! Great décor and color scheme! In my last home we had a pedestal sink, and I would hang a fingertip towel over the edge for guests. The unit over the toilet is a great idea as well. You have very good taste. Tfs! :)

I love your home. If you decide to become a home decorator, there is a house in NY waiting for you. The house was so dark with the previous owner. How do you keep the clutter in check? In your office, do you have a closet where you keep your books, for planning? I think you could do a vlog on organization in the house - that would be great. Have a great week. I am a firm believer in making the bed every morning, knowing that everything has a place, and the idea that a clear space = a clean mind. If you get the opportunity check out April Bee's channel. She does a lot of DIY's on wood furniture and your piece is such a good sturdy one, I would hate for you to get rid of it.
