This video should've been done and uploaded almost a year ago... I've been dealing with a lot of life issues, overtime at work, and dealing with my mother passing away. Im sorry this video took so long, but it's finally here! I'll have the updated Ness mod and Paula effect mod in the description for download as soon as I can!

Not gonna lie, I sorta prefer the original voice, to me, Ness is a bit of oddball when you compare him to other Smash characters, and that’s why I like him so much.

Ness voice on actual english? YAS! 🤩 But can we talk about Jeff? He looks so cute doing Villager's dance! The voice actor for ness was an amazing choice, he fits the more mature clay figure❤ I don't know anything about modding but I think Paula's up smash would be cooler as pk fire Omega (Even the hitbox kinda has that shape lol) and adding a fire effect making it seem like a fire blast! Amazing work! I totally love what you've created for our earthbound community!❤❤❤

This is so cool, I’ve always wanted more accurate effects for ness and Lucas! I do have one concern though- it’s really hard for me to tell Paula’s moves apart- maybe you could add a couple more colors? Maybe light blue or white to keep it soft?

If i can make a suggestion, instead of having two variants of PSi Rockin, what if you made the Side Special a form of Paralysis? It already leaves people stunned temporarily. I dont know anythinf about modding, but switching the sounds and visuals of the attack without changing how it works could make it work really well!!

@@BH400q, my original response has somehow been deleted by KZfaq. It‘s possible to add certain skins over certain alts thus you can have multiple mods on one character but different alts. For Paula I think the Ness reskin would work better since you could use it in combination with a mod, which turns all of Ness‘ Rockin Areals into PK Fire. And you could simply reskin PK Flash to make it look like another PSI attack. As for the voice I think Peach‘s voice would work well if you’d pitch it up.

EPIC! Only critiques: Ness’ rockin shouldn’t have cartoon explosion sfx, & Paula shouldn’t thunder for up-smash. Ness has random a-button moves, so it’s just her prayer power. & her down-b should be pray!

@@BH400q thanks for making this and good point! What I meant by random a-button moves was Ness in official smash has his up smashes grabs etc, and they’re not named after any specific psi/pk moves from earthbound, at least not to my knowledge!

That mod for Mewtwo is supposed to be Giegue from Mother 1. That soundtrack you hear is the same one played in the Pink Cloud Shrine Sanctuary location. One of my favorites lol

ngl the moves should act different (specifically neutral and up specials) neutral should cause an explosion around the player and the up special should only launch you without the flash projectile itself

This is only a cosmetic mod. Only the visual effects are modified. Changing the moves characteristics completely will make it unusable online.

1) "Her move set is nothing like Lucas's from Mother 3" Aren't all of his special moves PSI abilities that Paula naturally learns? I have a feeling, though, that wasn't what you actually meant. Lol 2) Why give her PK Beam when she can learn PK Fire in Earthbound? 3) Outside of the PK Rockin clip, that's a pretty nice voice for Ness. I'm still biased towards the one Smash gave, but if for some reason, they had to give him a new voice actor, this could easily take up the mantle

I was referring to Lucas's normals. Paula never learns Pk Love, which is why I made it appear as Pk thunder for her normals instead . Even though that was explained a little bit later on in the second clip, I do see how there can be some confusion made there in the first set of text. I decided to give her Pk Beam to switch it up and to give Mother 1 some representation since I don't have any Mother 1 mods yet. As far as the Pk Rockin voice line, that was the best one I could find that was dynamic enough to be in Smash.
