There are many rivalries we've seen come and go in Smash Ultimate, but I think none can top one of the most even-rivalries there is out there right now: Light and Tweek. With a near 50% win rate on each other, and both of them HATING to lose to each other when it comes to sets, I wanted to talk about some of their matches and why I love this rivalry as a spectator.

It’s one of the best that’s for sure it’s one of the few times where I’m excited to see a set with acola 95 percent of the time acola beats people 3-0 or he three stocks people at game 5. But not Miya because he’s build different.

That rivalry pretty much shaped japan smash scene and made it the best of the world so I can see why you think that since for a very long time those two players pretty much farmed their region by themselves except each other since 2023 maybe a little bit earlier.

marss too humble to just call him vs light the best rivalry. every set is a banger, the record is pretty even, they’re from the same region and have history, they’re good friends and shit talk each other, spans multiple smash titles and always high octane gameplay, etc
