I love that Detail. Samus may be a cold and isolated Bounty Hunter, who is brooding in comparison to other Nintendo heroes, but her heart's still in the right place. She spared Pit's life instead of tearing him apart like what Ridley would have done.

It was watching link bully ridley till ridley finally got some good hits in before dying.

@@sdosneaker1690 It's scary to think that with her pocket-dimension blaster, far greater tactical skill, and OBSCENE effective combat speed made even more broken by additional modifiers, Samus would most likely come out on top of that fight! If all of Pit's absurd abilities and similar skill were just barely insufficient to beat Samus, I don't see an untrained and largely haxless foe besting her. Sure, both Kirby and Samus can win in one hit, but she has way more skill, speed, and hax to help land said hit.

To be fair, asides from Palutena, almost all gods hate or have disdain for humanity in the games. There's only Dyntos, who likely doesn't care, and Hades who's... well he's freaking Hades.

Doubt it. Dark Samus is Samus’ equal in physical stats. And while her arsenal is less versatile than Samus, it is still pretty wide and can keep Pittoo on the back foot. Lastly… PHAZON IS BULLSHIT! Even with invincibility, healing, and status cleansing powers, there is NO WAY Dark Pit can last long enough before succumbing to a fatal case of space cancer. Honestly, I think Dark Samus is going to make it more than halfway through the bracket on Phazon poisoning alone.

Honestly, I can see Pit easily taking it if he had ice weaponry or attacks, and I say that as a huge Metroid fan. Even with the gravity suit, we know she takes massive damage from ice as proven by Fusion

I wouldn't say top 5. but she is up there. I think Shulk, Pyra and Mythra (mostly as Pnuma.), Joker, Sephiroth, and Cloud could all beat her more often then not.

​@dbfan199 That and Dark Samus is basically a better version of Samus given her Phazon hax combined with being faster than Samus and having direct speed feats that surpass the lowball Smash Bracket gave Samus. Obviously, Dark Pit is dead, especially considering Dark Samus wouldn't care to spare him from the start, but honestly I can see Dark Samus getting up to characters like Shulk who could just cancel out her power and erase her, but she could beat almost anything before that

I agree with the outcome but not the stats. Samus’s hax are far greater than pit’s while raw stats go to pit. They used still shots in mangas and death battle tier logic to put samus way above what’s actually shown which is a huge no no in real powerscaling. That said, some of samus’s hax abilities can instantly kill pit and pits hax are either actually palutena’s powers or from an uncanon multiplayer vs mode.

Additionally, she was just concerned for Pit, whereas the Metroid Suit is a product of pure rage.

Smash Bracket might be saving that for her analysis in a later match, probably one where she won't have any reservations about killing her opponent.

Honestly I think death battle and Smash bracket has positives and negatives, but I overall prefer Smash bracket's animation and characterization.

To be fair, it's not hard to see why. Pit pulls off some impressive feats in KI:U, but Samus is just ridiculous. She's destroyed space stations, entire planets, and even an entire alternate dimension at one point. The Space Pirates, which are established to be a major threat to humanity, fear Samus. Some of their logs in Metroid Prime show that their orders are to not engage her and to instead just evacuate if she shows up. Fighting her is considered akin to willful suicide. By comparison, Pit is typically viewed as weak and inconsequential by most of his enemies.

Her actions, which were made possible by the ridiculous amount of power she possesses, included singlehandedly killing gigantic biomechanical alien AIs, a heavily mutated Metroid that reincarnated itself using a stolen version of her suit as a body and proceeded to threaten all life in the galaxy by corrupting everything in its path across multiple planets, and borderline eldritch beings from an alternate version of reality. These actions resulted in the complete destruction of planets, and in one case, an entire alternate dimension. There, good enough for you? Or do I need to go into the specifics of exactly which parts of her arsenal made each of those feats the easiest? Perhaps the specifics of exactly what metal Mother Brain's mechanical parts appear to be made of?

Obviously the didn't factor things like the Screw Attack which would grant her functional invincibility, or similar AP-durabillity scaling to herself, like Pit one-shotting himself, via destroying the SA-X, a clone of her at her peak, while in a weakened state. They stated in the side-bar that the speed they gave Samus is a massive lowball, making her ship go at 1xFTL compared to it most likely being millions of times faster than light, which would push Samus FAR above FTL. There's the fact she can just summon her suit to her at will and that it's controlled by her will, which would stop any option Pit had to take away her armor and leave her in a disadvantage (which she would still probably win, given how hard she blitzes, combined with the fact that the suit doesn't enhance her physical strength by much, and she was able to stop an 80,000 ton [the weight is accounting for almost 1000x gravity] Kraid from crushing her with her brute strength), and they obviously didn't give her some of her stuff from Dread, including her Metroid DNA powerup which increases her physical strength and would allow her to just grab onto Pit and, considering how fast she is compared to him, sap his life energy before he can counter and turn her into a shrimp. There's also the fact that they equated 13 year old Pit's training in the army and multitude of adventures and battles to... what, 37 year old Samus training from 3 to 20+ years old under both Chozo scientists and warriors and the millitary and having plenty of practical experience, definitely more than Pit, and repeatedly outsmarting Ridley, who is very intelligent, both in and out of combat? I do prefer Samus, but I could be neutral and still see how that's not very even and definitely not a tie. In comparison, they did talk about almost everything for Pit. A few things here and there were missing. For example, they didn't factor the mountain range shattering feat in the comparison page. I assume it was too weak, but the mountains shattered from the shockwave, not an actual direct clash, so it should be way higher of an explosive yield thst what it would normally take to blow up a mountain. It wouldn't change the outcome, but still odd. I do love Pit, and I think this is one of the fairer fights you can find for either in the cast considering how strong they are, but Samus definitely deserved the win. I feel like her next match will be Link, which, considering how they put him at barely supersonic with buffs, will be a blowout in her favor, but maybe her opponent after that can showcase her broader abillities. Edit: Also, just for the heck of it, I translated the number of watts used for both of them (assuming they were watt seconds) in the stat comparison to tons of TNT, which I find more practical, probably due to Death Battle, but regardless: Pit shattering giant boulder: 3.54 terawatts = 849.6 tons of TNT Pit crashing into a wall at 3C: 24 petawatts = 5.76 megatons of TNT Pit's durabillity with items: 50 petawatts = 12 megatons of TNT Samus without Overblast: 3.84 petawatts = 921.6 kilotons of TNT Samus with Overblast: 26.88 petawatts = 6.4512 megatons of TNT Samus surviving the explosion: 4.38 exawatts = 1.0512 gigatons of TNT Samus with Gravity Suit: 7.665 exawatts = 1.8396 gigatons of TNT
