It was a great line, as it really showed the despair they were facing, they had killed Hulk's wife and child, and destroyed a planet he was literally destined to rule in a proper way. Just imagine being Ghost Rider though after he takes full control and sees the visions of the hulks experiences... "Kill them all, peace".

The exact same reason that The Specter is almost always sidelined over in DC. When you are the Wrath of God, or a Spirit of Vengeance you play in very different sand box then most everyone else.

This is one of my favorite storylines! And that last line where he explains why the Ghost Rider left pretty much cemented my view that what the Hulk is doing isn't wrong, yes I'm aware of the plot twist at the end. This is one of those few storylines where you've got an actual reason for the heroes to fight AND the fight relatively doesn't go too far like with Civil War or AvX. The Hulk, even though he could've, didn't kill the Illuminati nor any civilians. His endgame was literally just to destroy part of the city. That's it. The ending was satisfying because it proved that the Hulk, as mad as he was, was still a hero and not a monster.

well, if I remember correctly, the penance stare takes it’s power from the guilt in their soul. so even then, hulk does not feel guilty, even when he is.

Johnny blaze is out. Zarathos in control, stares at hulk and hulk stares back. We can assume Zarathos performed the penance stare, but the hulk is not guilty. This is supported by Strange’s dialogue. Or, like he said in the beginning, it was not his concern so therefore he just left. Either way, had that battle taken place, it would have been intense. Ghost rider is not underrated. The fact that the fight never actually happened is proof of marvels respect for the “real” ghost riders abilities.

love how Ghost Rider is depicted here such a dope character love the whole angle with Johnny being a limiter an not being able to use his full power unless the spirit agrees i think that right there would make him alot easier to write into more stories with out him being 2 op the spirit is old an by the book with its routine so that conflicts with johnny's sense of justice an i love that angle wish we got more of this in shows and movies i enjoyed the live action movies but they never really developed the character much i like how at first he couldn't control it and had no idea but i was hoping in the second he discovered & started arguing with the spirit

@@Noxciy Yea it would stop wanking the Hulk Zarathos is as powerful as Mephisto perhaps even more so and Strange stated Hulk would of lost

@@Noxciy Ok but I'm not talking about strange, I'm talking about Zarathos a being equal to Odin in power that can kill Hulk, Dr Strange was weakened when he got his hands broken by Hulk, Hulk had to use trickery to win he couldn't win without it.

@@Noxciy he can burn his soul with hellfire....hellfire ignores all physical defenses and attacks the souls and if zarathos comes out he'll eat hulk's soul and no hulk isn't immortal.

High Five you guys totally took my idea to heart it's awesome not just for you guys but us the fans. Now we have videos that touch briefly on the comic and even awesomer videos that go in depth. Hope my idea works out for you guys and keep doing what your doing brother.
