I had to laugh bro. I used to put my hockey gloves and soccer cleats in the chest freezer and my mom thought I was crazy. Ride safe bro.

I never knew about putting gloves in the freezer. I have been wondering about that. I take my joe rocket gloves off, and my hands smell like them for the rest of the day .. hmm. Thanks for the tip.

Dude, what the heck? In the freezer?! I've actually never heard of that before! I neeeed to try that next time. I'm a fan of just throwing my textile or mesh gear in the wash, but now I need to try leather gloves in the freezer if I get that problem. Also... your Monster already looks and sounds like a real Ducati! But those new turn signals though... heck yeah.

ToastToGo Right? It's sounds so weird but really worked for me. I was worried it will mess up the leather but my gloves are seems to be fine. Let me know how it goes for ya.

ToastToGo I heard that before about expensive Denim (which should not be put in the washer). I guess the cold kills off the odor causing bacteria.

Just tried this, then I looked up the science - Bacteria do not die when they are refrigerated or frozen. Low temperatures merely slow their metabolism and thus slow their rate of division. Sorry 😐. Was worth a go!

Yeah, they have too much food and moisture, much like shoes it will only preserve and slow the growth till it heats back up. That's why they use freezers to preserve samples lol.

When you've got a nice pair of selvage denim, it works a treat putting them in the freezer to kill bacteria and smell

Freezing bacteria will only slow them, NOT kill the bacteria. As soon as the gloves are warm again the bacteria will continue to grow. Good as a temp fix but DOES NOT KILL THE BACTERIA!!

I've heard of that freezer trick before, but have never tried it. By the way, all I could think about as I watched this vid was Spinal Tap's "Smell the Glove" album. LOL.
