That turn one camera location was awesome. Loved to see NBC or Fox use that spot for now on.

Funny how after this race with all the guys 2nd thru 7th in points having trouble, Earnhardt built a pretty good lead finishing 3rd. He was 190 pts ahead of Rusty Wallace, but behind Rusty it was pretty tight. In fact the gap between 1st and 2nd was bigger than 2nd to 12th.

Do you know why they ran a lot of Pocono races on PPV? I always noticed that they ran a lot of Pocono races during the 80's on PPV. The race that Bobby Allison had his career ending crash which was the previous year to this race was on PPV also.

@@allstarchris1not sure of the exact reason but I do know back then the tracks.determined who would broadcast their races. Pcoono thought it would have been a good.idea so they experimented with it.

Darrell just cruising behind rusty waiting until it's time to race. Rusty got the back end hung out every other lap just to stay up front.

Trying to find a race i had on tape long ago, I'm sure it's between 1989 and 1991, it featured Alan Kulwicki and Mark Martin having similar accidents hitting the wall, Bill Elliott (#9) leading most of it (Kulwicki actually passed him to unlap himself). Bob Jenkins was on commentary....there was a blue #44 but it wasn't Terry Labonte and it spun out..... and I think Ken Schrader wrecked 3 times in his red Folgers #25. That's all I remember.

If it had the blue 44 but wasn't tery it would been 88 or 87 Sterling marlin drove it they changed numbers in 89 from 44 to 94 an sunoco was sponsor in 89

It about had to be 88 I thought a little more about what you said an if schtder was in 25 folders car it had to be 88 cause Tim Richmond an Benny parsons drove the folders car in 87 Schrader was in donleveys 90 car I n 87 so it had to be 88. Try the fall dover race in 88 Martin hit the wall I no elliott lead most of race kulwiki was on pole I belive but didn't last up front long but not sure if this is race your looking for or not

They're basically going back to that model. You're going to have to subscribe to four or five streaming services to see everything.

Meticulous groundskeeping, theres no way grass should ve been a foot away from the racing surface. These drivers were hard guys.
