Every episode has a post-credits "in memoriam" tribute. For episode 3, it was Smormu, explaining why he never appears again despite being the 5th smiling friend.

Ahh, it goes so quick I couldn't tell if those were memes or not. I'm all caught up, but when I go to record S2E4 I'll defiintely keep in mind!

My favourite part is that it isn't a normal or happy photo of Smormu, instead it's just a photo of his corpse on the morgue table.

@EversPrimeTime every season 2 episode seems to have a post credits scene as well, unlike season 1 were only 5 and 6 had ones

Smiling Friends has a lot of cameo voice performances, like shrimp who is voiced by david firth, who is the man behind the viral youtube webseries Salad Fingers

Glad you love it. Just a heads up: I'd highly recommend letting the credits play from now on, there's great bonus scenes at the end. You already missed a hilarious one with Salty's.

So far, episodes 5 and 6 from the 1st season have post credit scenes, as well as every episode of season 2 (as of now)

Fun facts: 1) The guy at 11:34 is voiced by the guy behind the “Number 15: Burger King foot lettuce” meme. 2) Charlie’s girlfriend is voiced by Monica Franco, who voiced Vaggie in the Hazbin Hotel pilot. In other words, Monica voices Charlie’s girlfriends in 2 different shows. 3) Michael Cusack created and voiced in a Rick and Morty parody called “Bushworld Adventure”.

32:22 I think if it was taken literally it would be desecration of a corpse. But im sure they could play word games and try to convince a jury of attempted murder as they thought the person was alive at the time, so they committed attempted murder since they tried to kill him. Sort of like the to catch a predator traps, the offenders didnt DO anything since they were actually talking to an adult the whole time, but they THOUGHT they were a child and intent is what matters.

I think when Charlie said "No-one's ever done anything crazy on sleeping pills" it's a dramatic irony reference to Roseanne, basically setting up the next scene. And for the record, Shrimp has a Yorkshire accent (north east side of England)

Well Zach has worked on a lot of stuff with Justin Roiland over the years so I wouldn’t say it’s out of the realm of possibility. Btw, this is coming from someone that doesn’t like R&M all the much.

32:10 I think there are laws against desecrating a corpse. No clue what the penalties are tho. Couldn't be as hefty as a murder sentence, right? 😂🤷‍♂️
