I think there's a ball inside the filter, like a pellet you have to pinched really hard to "activate", at least that, what they do in my motherland.

I think the look of the cigarette is really nice, the packaging also looks very appealing and refreshing, if only it weren't for the scaring pictures xD. I think a pack like this is good in summer because they are lighter, Camel Blue are also good for very warm weather. All in all no complaints. Nice video Connie

Menthol flavored cigarettes are banned in the European Union but menthol itself is not banned as an additive. Camel activa to my knowledge has the most amount of menthol a cigarette can have without being classified as a menthol cigarette in the eu.

What's the difference between menthol flavored and menthol as an additive? And why did they ban them anyway? Now I see only colors in labels not flavors anymore. What do the colors mean if not represent different flavors? Are you guys sure that flavors are actually banned or could it be that labeling the flavors is all that's banned? I think maybe each color is a different flavor. I mean that's actually a fact. In many cases at least. In some ir just means light and strong I guess.

In America we have Camel Crush and there's a little ball of flavor in the filter, you can choose to smoke it as a regular flavored cigarette or you crush the filter and make it menthol. Camel also has many different flavored cigarettes. One of them taste the way you're describing but i don't remember the name of it.

É um cigarro indonésio, mas creio que venda por aí. Aqui no Brasil ele é um pouco caro, mas não se compara aos outros que fumei. Try LD option 100s, I think they're called. It's a black LD 100's pack with a slight blue glimmer in the corner, they're by far the most mentholly ciggaretes i've had in Europe, I was very surprised

Did you not pop the dot? I looked this up cuz i just got a pack after they told me i have to press the dot to release the flavor. Mine even says Press to Release on the pack. But i didn't do it right the first time so the flavor wasn't released. But im trying the second one now and i pressed the filter focusing at the dot from both sides (really i just squeezed the filter from all sides) and you actually hear it pop! And then i could finally get some menthol flavor. Im guessing you missed that step? 😊😂

i got a pack and first thing i noticed is that my pack is dark blue instead of light blue, i personally dont feel the menthol taste but in general the taste is very good

You can still get menthol cigarettes in switzerland btw. If you ever plan a 20 hour roadtrip you know where to go lol. Was so confused because i see menthol cigarettes everywhere, but i guess because we are not part of the european union, its fine.

Hi. You should give your pack of smokes a little packing. Flip the pack upside down and give a could good wacks. Packs the tobacco in nicely. Makes your drag much better. Coming from a former smoker. Hope alls well. :)

I think those cigarettes might contain a chemical called "WS-3". It's not a flavouring, but rather a 'cooling agent', which is used in other jurisdictons where menthol is banned to simulate the coolness of menthol.

After the banning of menthols in Europe, cigarettes that were previously menthols now become cigarettes that simply do not taste like regular cigarettes. The strange taste of this type of cigarettes may probably be due to the fact that the foil in which they are packaged is flavored. Therefore, when such pseudo-menthol cigarettes become stale, they begin to resemble ordinary light cigarettes. Generally, such cigarettes are not officially mentholated, but they are, in a sense, perfumed so that they have a taste reminiscent of something minty. Generally, such fake-menthols are probably marketed as cigarettes for people who do not particularly like the natural taste of tobacco. If you want to smoke a real menthol cigarette in Europe, you can choose between filters to rolling or IQOS.

I love your videos, Connie. I do have to say that the dying man on the package is very familiar to me. Over a few decades that is what cigarettes did to my uncle. Eventually the doctors found a tumor underneath his tongue and had to split his jaw apart to remove it. He spent his last days with a bulbous, swollen jaw, a tracheotomy and was eating from a feeding tube. He died at a family dinner when a blood vessel ruptured in his lungs. My dad did CPR through his bloody tracheotomy tube, but it was to no avail. I still smoked for about 15 years after that. Nicotine is one of the hardest addictions I have ever known. More so than any other drug, besides alcohol and heroin. I truly hope you do enjoy your time being young. Also don't forget what these can do to you after years and years of smoking.
