I don't think I've ever not been stoned when I've seen this. I remember getting real baked before I saw it the first time at the cinema. Even now watching this reaction I've had a couple joints cause I got off work early. Probably my favourite stoner comedy I've seen, the fight scene in the house between Seth, James and Danny kills me every single time.

Man i feel like legalizing weed was the best move Canada ever did. It's so simple now. I can go out walk a few blocks, buy weed or pre-rolled. Smoke it while walking back to my house. Back in the 90's early 2000's man. You felt like a criminal smoking a joint. It was taboo and the cops would always roam around if they smell it. I got friend who got arrested for having 3g of weed when i can walk in the street with 28g. It's the limit to carry outside, otherwise you can be suspected of traffic. I'm 32 now and been smoking weed for almost 20 years. I started very young. I don't recommend kids doing drugs, but as for myself, I don't think it affected me really. I was successful in High school, in college, at university and professional school. I got a good stable and essential job, no stress, ever easier during the pandemic, money coming in. If your life revolve around weed, you may become lazy and dumb. If you have a successful life and you smoke as a reward, it's a different game. Weed should be legalized everywhere. The argument of weed leading to higher drugs is only logic if you buy it from a shady dealer.

When this movie came out my friend’s and I skipped school and went for a high ride before going to the theaters to see this. We loved it! Still quote this movie to this very day. This movie, The Clerks 2, Jay & Silent Bob strike back, Harold & Kumar Go To Whitecastle, STEP BROTHERS, and Half Baked were on rotation when we’d hang out in our friends rec room especially in the winter because there really wasn’t much else to do outside unless ya wanted to freeze ya balls off.

First time I ever saw this movie, smoked a little bit of the good stuff and then went to go see this movie, couldnt stop laughing the whole time. Thought I was being too loud with all my laughing so I sunk into the chair and burst out laughing in the very next scene. The couple sitting to my right looked over, pointed, nodded their head and then turned back to the movie. When we left they asked if I wanted to hot box their car, I said hell yea lets go. We ended up hanging out almost every week after that until they moved out of state.
